Why does sleeping feel useless sometimes lol

Anyone else ever have those nights where you sleep for 8 hours and wake up feeling absolutely destroyed 😂
Like you did everything right, went to bed at a decent time, got enough hours, and somehow you wake up more tired than when you went to bed.
For me the worst part is the brain fog. I can physically get up but mentally i’m just not there.
Then the whole day feels kinda wasted because i’m already tired in the morning.
Curious if other people experience this too or if it’s just me

For people who sleep 8+ hours but still wake up tired, what is it like for you?

I’ve been trying to understand this because I keep seeing people say “just get enough sleep” but what if you already do?
I can sleep 8 hours and still wake up tired, foggy and just not feeling refreshed.
Sometimes I sleep longer thinking it’ll help and it honestly doesn’t make much difference.
I’m curious what this looks like for other people.
Do you feel tired immediately when you wake up?
Does the tiredness last all day?
Do naps help?
Or do you eventually feel normal later in the day?
Would be interesting to hear how other people experience it.

Getting enough sleep but still waking up exhausted… what actually helped you?

I’ve tried a bunch of the usual stuff already, sleeping earlier, getting more hours, cutting caffeine later in the day, trying not to stay on my phone all night etc
But I still have mornings where I wake up exhausted even after 8+ hours.
It’s not really falling asleep that’s the problem for me. It’s the fact that the sleep doesn’t seem to do what it’s supposed to do lol
I wake up groggy, brain fogged and sometimes need coffee just to feel like a normal person.
Has anyone actually figured out what was causing this for them?
Not looking for some “sleep 8 hours bro” advice 😂 I’m genuinely curious what made a noticeable difference for people who had the same problem.

I sleep enough but still feel exhausted every morning

This has been bothering me for a while now
I usually get around 7 to 9 hours of sleep, sometimes more, but I still wake up feeling like i barely slept.
I’m tired, my brain feels slow and sometimes it takes me like 1 to 2 hours to actually feel awake.
What’s weird is that I dont necessarily have trouble sleeping, I just dont feel rested when I wake up.
Does anyone else have this? What does your morning usually feel like?
