hi all,
im getting excessive wind noise from the passenger front door. I read here about others having door seal issues and taking it in. I’m taking my calligraphy in tomorrow. It’s only a month old of ownership. occurs 45mph+
anyone got recommendations on what I should push for?
thanks
hey everyone. I keep finding only crystal clear screen protectors for the climate control panel with poor reviews on Amazon, or 1 matte protector from some unknown website that’s slow to process and ship orders with poor customer reviews. I’m hoping to find a good one. I don’t necessarily need or want for infotainment screen, only climate panel
happy with the results. under 30 min install. Fits well. https://a.co/d/08z79tu1
I think I’m leaning towards a hard shell carrier for top but perhaps an Aerodynamic fabric zip up one
what do yall think?
side note- also very much enjoying the Hampton Gray; took a bit. She’s one month old tmrw, and hybrid is for sure useful now with these ridiculous gas prices….
hey guys, I installed crossbars today, pretty easy and came out nice. now, I am curious on two things.
1- tie down strap recommendation? ratchet, retractable, etc.
2- roof rack- I’ve seen wired boxes, hard shell containers, fabric bags, aerodynamic designs vs square.
usage case not bikes or kayaks. more like luggage, big items and Christmas tree. i’m looking for ease and weather protection. also, some tips on how to tie down, haven’t done it before.
thanks
Hey, I have a calligraphy model and debating to leave the cpillar handles unlocked so I can get to the roof anytime. any downside to this? do any of you do that?
ill do my own test tomorrow, just want to make sure the interior handle doesnt flop around causing damage or annoying noise.
I dont have cargo often, but I also dont bring my fob and or phone often due to digital key and finger print. so by doing so, I dont have the little key to unlock the handle if I wanted.
hey everyone. in case I ever want to carry anything on my SF roof, be it Christmas tree, luggage, or a box from ikea that can’t fit inside, what products have you gotten and liked? I do have the side rails but not crossbars. I was researching crossbars as well as aerodynamic roof bags 20cubic ft. Tho on those I watched you have to pull down on the door seal rubber to attach clips. I’m concerned this will loosen the strength of the seal over time or I’ll do it wrong and break it. but maybe I’m overthinking due to no experience.
what do you all think? thanks.
anyone have scratch remover suggestion that actually work? I noticed a decent scratch on roof top of the lift gate, idk how it happened. browsed Amazon, Walmart and autozone but I don’t want to waste money or make it worse getting a lousy product.
disclaimer- sorry, long rant. Mental back and forth on color.
I thought I was 100% sold on the Hampton Gray, don’t get me wrong I do love it, just more so in sunlight the color is awesome and my favorite. But when low light it’s too dark and at purchase it was the better priced deal tho I didn’t think about how winter road salt would hide better on white like my last car. Too late now, impractical to switch. Owell. I just wish after almost a month I could stop playing the what if game and not feel like I made the wrong call.
somewhat related- the dealer I went to a few times before purchasing to test drive, closer to home by 5-10 mins than the one I ended up at, and the sales person was great. Really thought I’d go there but in the moment a different dealer had a better deal and was willing to work with me more, but I feel bad cause the first dude thought I’d go to him and he called to check in remembering details. there again, owell.
factually: I went to the place that worked out best for my wallet.
factually: some reasons I still second guess, is because I really liked both white and gray. our last car was white so I’m used to seeing white in the garage. And while i got tinted windows and sunshade, white interior and remote start AC vents ON, I wonder if white would be immensely cooler. And if it would hide dust better. tho I know on my last car, road trip bug juice was very visible, as well as some yellowing and paint chipping. gray has hid the bugs more and I have a car wash membership
fact- while I like white, the one part I didn’t is that the windshield bars ( or whatever they called) are black and not white. could be more monochromatic imo
side note- I don’t really care about the Star Wars reference as I’m not into starwars, I just liked the clean look of white.
anyway, I just want to put this fully to rest and enjoy the new wheels to the fullest and not wonder when i see a different color on the road
questions-
1-do you think my temperature will be just fine?
2-anyone who got white, any regrets for some reason?
I have a Hampton gray calligraphy. Front windows already ceramic tinted
has anyone gotten the moon roof or panormanic roof ceramic tinted to help limit heat? I know you can close the shade, I do so when parked, but when driving it’s nice for passengers to have it open.
also, has anyone gotten the windshield clear tinted to again help with heat? Supposedly less likely to get a ticket since it’s clear.
if so, were you happy with the results? Any legal issues or been pulled over?
hey there. any recommendations for stairs or thicker tread ladders for intex pool? the one it came with is not that safe or comfortable.
thanks
thought I was over it, but still 2nd guessing my Hampton gray choice over serenity white.
gray:
pros: hampton has a more cohesive look and looks amazing in sunlight & after washes, I have a carwash membership
con: looks too dark in low light and less visible on road vs white; unless snow storm & I live in a wintery area. Maybe higher temp, tho I have ceramic tint & white interior
white:
pros: higher visibility, lower temps, and cool contrast
cons: higher cost, for my deal options at the time, I don’t like the black colored winshield pillars, low vis in winter
facts: rolls eyes-futile and dumb. & too late on color.
I love the car, its awesome. only the color is annoying me
hi all I just ordered cup holder liners for 2nd and 3rd row. do these stay in when you lift a cup or are they tedious?
thanks
very happy with these stats at 2nd fill up and how less often I need to fill up.
has anyone tho gotten to 600 range? if so, any tips on how?
hit this today. I know the real one is still 32 to 34 but still. especially helpful with the gas prices being ridiculous for obvious reasons
Hi, just a few weeks old 2026 hybrid owner and I can confirm that more than once I hear wind noise from the front passenger window area going 35mph+
any suggestions on what to tell the dealer/ have them do?
notice how the vertical light is on on the right side. this is with the door open. but while driving, the vertical edge lights on both ends of the dash do not light up. is this correct?
I thought they all were supposed

Fortunately it is normal, nothing wrong. But unfortunately it’s normal, as would be cool to have it always work.
