The water pump I ordered came with two gaskets does anyone have a counter argument to putting both of them on there? Seems to me like it would be double the leak protection.
I took all five bolts out with no issue I have a replacement ready to go, but even when I lightly tap it with a hammer, it is on their rock solid. Any advice?
hello, I inherited my 1972 custom 20 from my grandfather a couple years ago. i’ve been having a lot of trouble trying to find a replacement starter that matches the mount on the transmission (see picture) I initially thought that the starter from a P20 van , but the nose cap for the gear wasn’t the right size and it didn’t mount correctly. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I’d like to get the truck back on the road.
My 84 300 SD turbo diesel leaks coolant profusely when parked and cold, but when it’s running not a drop. If anyone has an idea of what I can do that would be great. If it’s as simple as tightening that green nut it would be even better. Thanks
The car started just fine. I drove over to My uncles house and the dashboard, turn signals, and tail lights died, The car starts and drives fine. I checked the fuse box. I don’t think any of them are blown the two metal boxes. I have my fingers on, we’re too hot to touch. I don’t know if that means anything, but I need my instruments and tail lights back please help
I have a 1984 300 SD turbo diesel and I was wondering what other models and years would have compatible window assemblies (ie: The aluminium arm that pulls the window up and down) as well as door checks. My rear driver side window assembly exploded itself, same thing with the rear passenger door check, any help is great. Thanks.

I went digging around in my door cards because neither of my rear windows work on the rear of the car. I won’t go into detail what’s wrong with them, because I’d rather switch them over to manual windows. Does anyone know if this switch is possible? if it isn’t then I think I’m gonna have to do some rewiring which I really don’t want to.
