Help w ID of Vintage chair
Need help with ID of what this chair is, how old or where it came from?
Dark carved wood, on wheels that are older style ( not sure if originally had wheels or were added decades ago). Blue velvet fabric.
Person who had this for decades at minimum I'm aware, is no longer cognitively able to provide ANY info. They did have genuine antiques and items from around the globe in their home, so it could be of any age, from anywhere. I am aware it was there for decades at minimum.
There was just this one chair and no other furniture matched this design or style. So zero clue if it was a single piece or part of a set at one point.
No markings or ID of any maker anywhere I could visibly see or notice.
Has some weight to it.
I was always drawn to it, which is why I was gifted it years ago. But can't find anywhere to put it, so am debating selling or keeping.
Either way, I'd like to know what I have! Thanks!😊
