Grandpa’s beloved Fish Assholes: STORY!
My grandpa was on a road trip through Louisiana back in the 80s and found this can of fish assholes at some store. He thought it was the funniest shit and kept it on his desk and in his office for the rest of his life!
When I was like 8 he said if he ever got sick and it wasn’t looking good, I was to bring the can to him so we could see what was really inside 🤣
At that point, when the can was shaken, it was audibly solidified and congealed into one big lump of assholes.
When he died last year, I wanted to tell the story at his funeral! When I grabbed the can from the top shelf, the bottom had completely rusted, and it dusted ASSHOLE POWDER all over my shirt.
Pa always loved a good prank and he got one more from beyond the grave!
Now, it sits on my desk as it did with Pa.
Dress Up Your Desserts!
Found this unopened "Dec-a-Cake" sugar set from the 70s in my mom's pantry a few years ago when I was cleaning out the house. The "Fast'n Fun Ideas" are indeed fun.
A clean, close, toxic shave…
If ever you’ve wanted your open, vulnerable pores to burn with the heat of a thousand suns, try Silver Label! (found in the medicine cabinet of the family’s old cottage)
Was feeling sick and my mom pulled this out
I was 7 when this expired
“Cough Syrup” 🫠
Cough syrup with a bit of extra old school “kick” that is still in use and in our fridge 😂
Found this at work
Not sure of the age of the age, but no website address on the bottle i can’t find any reference to Super-Ma on the internet.
Found alongside payslips dated 1990 and a floppy disk, so possibly from that era.
Needed some white out; it sounds like it had dried solid
Some cursed recipe cards for your next party! I found courtesy of the one and only, Betty Crocker.
