Guinness from a house cleanout
A guy who does house/barn cleanouts was selling all the remaining stuff for $1 each at the flea market, and there were some unopened Guinness bottles he found that all looked like this. Ended up getting one.

The last message before was from me politely establishing the relationship as over, which she didn't respond to. Relationship ended after 2 months of push pull with no sign of improvement, after she first became avoidant due to the relationship becoming more intimate (from what I understood she had never been that close with anyone until me, and has a lot of baggage). Now she's reached out out of nowhere with something fairly innocent, do I respond or not risk reopening any wounds. It's currently been 2 days and I've not responded.
It's on an email account I almost never use, but still annoying whenever I switch to it for some reason and get my phone blown up with notifications. Apparently they tried multiple phishing schemes too.
For £8 I couldn't pass it up, no clue how old it is, if anyone has any ideas. Was there along with some 70s Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd pins, which I passed on.
Based on the date I presume the original owner added beneath the autograph, would have been signed near the start of his second UK tour, the dates of the shows aren't archived very well, but seems like the tour started by January 17th at the latest and went until the summer. Cool piece of 60s folk history, especially with the inscription from him, and great album I would have picked up for £2 even without the signature.
Both original, the home is the Argentinian market version. Just received the away in the post today, which was one I had been wanting for ages.
Online seller only took a photo of the cover, and weirdly the blank white inner sleeve. From the photo of the inner sleeve I swear I could see a bit of the scroll behind the white paper. For around £10 including shipping I decided to gamble and happy to say it paid off, and it is in much better condition than I expected (the description said the disc is scratched, the only scratches I found were two small surface scuffs that you can't even feel, and produce no noise whatsoever).
Someone apparently sold their collection of the complete 1969-1978 discography of vdgg and Peter Hammill to my local record shop. Sadly couldn't afford all of them (barely could afford what I did get), but picked up a decent selection still I think. Still pains me for not getting Still Life though, and was quite tempted on H to He and Over (they had Silent Corner as well but it was a bit more money than I'd like to spend). All are first UK pressings in amazing condition except for Pawn Hearts which is a '75 reissue.
Third press from 1969 in suprisingly amazing condition. Plays with essentially zero surface noise, and can't find any marks on the disc, just some slight discolouration on the label and slight wear on the cover. Wasn't planning to spend any money on my lunch break today, but couldn't resist considering I don't have a proper copy of this yet, or much pre-Meddle Floyd in general.
My fingers feel like seaweed.
Didn't have any VDGG in my collection, and couldn't resist when I saw a beautiful copy for £20. Not an original pressing ('76 reissue) but sounds great to me, and looks barely played plus has the original lyric insert. One of those albums that took me ages to get into, but when it clicked it was definitely worth it. A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers alone is worth the price of admission, up there as one of the best prog epics ever imo.
In amazing condition, looks barely worn. Prefer the fit of this Formotion version to the Climacool version, and think the material might be slightly better, but honestly there's very little difference between the fan version and player version compared to on more recent shirts. Have no idea how widely sold the Formotion version was back in the day, but it's very cool to own.
