Context car cranks for the first time that you give it a go but after I let go it just click click it’s either you commit to the first crank and let it go for 15-20 seconds before it decides to turn on but if u let it go n try again it’ll just click click maybe alternator not charging fully or my grounds? Maybe my battery wire? I’ve noticed it’s green looking near the terminal but only in the center of the cable?
Well either way I had to push it in neutral pop it into 1st and let the clutch go and it started like that

Ran compression test on my m20b27 and all cylinder but 2 marked 180+ most maxed out at 190ish cylinder 2 topped out at 150 all of them leaked down aswell aswell adjusted valves and it sounds a little bit better in terms of it not sounding like the valves are playing salsa under the valve cover gunna go drive it and see what happens

Also when I pulled the plugs most of them where a slight bit oily bit 2nd was the most noticeable it was very caked on black on the spark plugs but the rest are decent enough shape to run again

Not sure what’s going on but all gears go in when the car is off might be knotchy in sum but synchros maybe? But when I try to drive it R/1/3 shoot back the gear and don’t stay engaged however if I have the car off slot in reverse or first it’ll keep the gear engaged… I dunno if this is something internal or still hydraulics
