Chainsaw kit:
Feedback on my chainsaw kit?
This all fits in the rigid tool box and I can throw it into the back of my vehicle.
Here’s what I have:
(My main saw is a MS261)
- 2 cans of pre mix fuel
- 1 bottle of oil mix
- 1 1 quart of bar oil
- 2 big wedges
- 4 medium wedges
- 2 small wedges
- Folding saw
- Folding Shovel
- Hatchet
- Small axe
- spare bar
- 4 spare chains
- spark plug, starter rope, bar nuts, carb tool (I realize these are needed for my saw)
- Reflective vest
- First aid kit with TQ
- 2 pairs of leather work gloves
- 1 pair of rubber dipped work gloves
- Mesh goggles
- 2 Clear safety glasses
- UV safety glasses
- many earplugs
- 2 pairs of safety glasses
- Electronic ear muffs
- Ratchet Strap
- Multi Tool
- 2 Chainsaw wrenches
- Stihl Combo file tool
- Extra files
- Chainsaw chaps
- electrical tape

- microfiber towels
- 3 Bottles of drinking water
- 3 protein bars

- Bright Flashlight

And my hard hat: which has
- ear muffs built into it
- and a very bright headlamp
I also have like a pole saw, some other bigger and smaller chainsaws but thought a 261 would be perfect for this kit. I also have more chaps and fuel and stuff in my garage to pick from if it were a bigger endeavor.
Any thoughts? What to add? (Or remove)
