Showed these to my friend who’s obsessed with Rick Owens, and he straight-up thought I copped retail. Told him it’s the XC batch, and he wouldn’t believe me until I pointed out the tiny factory mark on the heel.

The suede/leather mix, the silhouette, the laces — everything matches. The toe shape, the side stripe placement, even the way the shoe creases when you walk is spot-on.

If you’re into the Rick Owens vibe but don’t want to drop retail prices, this batch is insane

I showed these two to a Cartier boutique SA friend, and they couldn’t tell which was real. Here’s why:

• Color example: The rose gold tone is identical — not too yellow, not too pink, just like the retail finish.
• Screw detail example: The screw heads have the same texture and edge definition. Even the way they reflect light matches.
• Engraving depth example: The “Cartier 750” serial number inside is engraved with the same depth and font as retail.
• Clasp mechanism example: The closure clicks shut with the same satisfying snap, and the hinge moves just as smoothly.

You’d need a jeweler’s loupe to spot any difference, even then it’s tough.
