Right Out of the Box

These definitely aren't a subtle pair of Dunks 😂. The yellow color is loud, but that's obviously part of what makes the Grateful Dead SBs so good.

The fur was the first thing I checked when I opened the box. It has a decent length and texture to it, and the yellow looked pretty close to the reference photos I had been comparing against. The orange accents and blue details also give the shoe a lot of character without everything looking completely mismatched.

The shape looked good to me as well. The toe doesn't look overly bulky, and the shoe has that chunky SB Dunk appearance I was hoping for.

Materials & Construction

I was honestly more impressed with these once I started looking at them closely. The fuzzy panels have a nice texture and don't feel completely flat, while the leather sections feel reasonably substantial.

Stitching was clean on my pair, and I didn't come across any major glue marks or loose threads. The sole is firmly attached and the overall shoe feels pretty sturdy in hand.

The tongue is nicely padded too, which is something I appreciate on SB Dunks since they can feel pretty bulky around the ankle.

I'm not going to pretend I can authenticate these down to every tiny detail, but compared with retail photos and references, the overall presentation looks really good to me.

The fur, color combination, and general shape are the things that stand out most when they're on foot, and those areas are all pretty convincing.

Wearing Them

These aren't exactly lightweight, but that's expected with an SB Dunk and especially with all the materials used on this colorway.

Once they're on foot, though, they're pretty comfortable. The padded tongue and collar help a lot, and the fit feels secure without squeezing my feet.

I wouldn't call them my most comfortable sneaker ever, but I've worn them for a few hours at a time without any problems.

Comfort: 8.5/10

I'm pretty happy with how these turned out. The Opti Yellow colorway is definitely one of those shoes that gets attention, and the OG batch does a good job with the details that matter most to me.

The fuzzy upper has a nice texture, the colors look good in person, and the overall shape feels right. They're not a pair I'd wear every single day, but when I want something that stands out, these are an easy choice.

Definitely glad I went with these instead of another basic Dunk.

First things first I have to say that I'm rather satisfied with everything I've selected. Although I think that there could be some room for improvement with hoodies I like them and you can also see how good the shoes look in the photos as well.

Got another haul in and I’m honestly pretty happy with how everything turned out. A nice mix of long sleeves, sets, trousers, sneakers and accessories.

The ERD long sleeve has a really nice graphic, and the Trapstar vest and shorts set looks clean with the matching mesh material. The Acne Studios long sleeve is simple and easy to wear, while the CD piece has a good heavyweight sweatshirt feel.

The footwear was probably my favourite part of this haul. The AJ1s look solid, and the Salomons have a nice aggressive shape in hand. Also picked up a Ralph Lauren cap and Hermès belt to finish off a few outfits.

Another batch of shoes has arrived and the variety in this haul is crazy. From chunky runners and classic sneakers to slides and Birkenstocks, there’s a good mix of everyday pairs and statement pieces. Quality and overall shape look solid from the photos. 👟

First Look

These were one of those pieces that looked pretty simple in pictures but made a lot more sense once I actually put them on. The dark brown/washed color works really well with the contrast of the different cross patches. It's noticeable without looking like I'm wearing a giant logo across the whole outfit.

The fit is probably my favorite part. They're loose without being ridiculously oversized, and the heavier material gives them a nice shape when they're on.

Details & Quality

I went over the pants pretty carefully when they arrived. The stitching around the pockets and seams was clean, and the fabric has a nice worn-in feel rather than looking completely flat or brand new.

The cross patches are what really make these stand out. I like that they're mixed between the darker and lighter colors instead of everything being the same. The little hardware details around the pockets are also a nice touch.

Nothing on my pair had any major loose threads, weird stitching, or obvious finishing issues. Only main issue was some of cross placements and the color not matching retail perfectly.

Quality: 8/10

Fit

The fit is pretty much what I was hoping for, baggy through the legs with enough room without looking like I'm swimming in them. They stack nicely over sneakers and work especially well with chunkier shoes.

I'd definitely pay attention to the measurements before ordering though. The fit is a big part of how these pants look, so I'd rather compare measurements than blindly go by the tagged size.

Honestly, these are a really easy pair to wear. The washed brown color, loose fit, and different cross patches give them enough going on without making the outfit too busy.

I've already worn them a few times and they've been surprisingly easy to style. Definitely one of those pieces that looks better once it's actually part of an outfit rather than sitting on a hanger.
