Shipped some of the cool stuff to the town with Mulebuy

yo guys, finally I got a haul in and this one, was mainly a mix of jackets, tees and some winter things. I shipped everything with Mulebuy and the package arrived safely without any major problems. I went for different styles this time instead of buying the same type of pieces.

and leaving the product links in comments ; Do chk it out ;

Was supposed to be a small haul… 💀

Another haul arrived and honestly this one has a bit of everything. Some winter pieces, basics, jeans and a bunch of stuff for everyday fits.

The Moncler jacket and CP down jacket are probably my favorite pickups. The Margiela sweater, CP hoodie and RL sweater are also really clean and easy to wear.

For bottoms, the Essentials and Stüssy jeans should go with pretty much everything. The Derschutze shorts and alo set are nice for warmer days too.

Also grabbed a bunch of basics from AMI, ALD, Corteiz, Supreme, Stüssy and RL. The ALD hat and Chrome Hearts belt were nice little additions.

Overall, really solid haul with a lot of wearable pieces.

overall 8.8/10 🔥

Winter rep haul done and with some casuals

Hoodies gone crazy and never expect the quality but even though there are some negatives on the prints but cloth is comfortable just you can see the print on north face lmaoooo

Sizings was so tight, need to size up from next time

Casuals cotton also great to wear nd more some wrinkles because of the not great packaging I guess

Footwear’s looks somehow good and not so comfortable but worthy enough for the money

Shipment is the Imp part like it costed more around 150$ and thankgod it was not stuck in customs 🛃

Shipping agent was mulebuy

Overall, I liked the quality from these stores, some of the looks of their products could be improved !

Mid-size portfolio tech stack check (2026 edition): Comparing PMS automation, channel reliability, and API stability

Doing a deep dive into my operational set up before the busy season hits and wanted to get some unbiased perspectives from other hosts running mid-sized STR businesses in the US in 2026-2027.

I’m leaning towards sticking with Guesty because their overall workflow automation, unified inbox, and channel connectivity have been dependable for my daily routine. That said, I want to evaluate other setups on the market to make sure my business is running on the absolute best software, so I’ve been comparing a few alternative options: Hostaway, Hospitable, and OwnerRez.

Here is where my head is at on a few core areas:

Channel Manager & API Reliability: I need instant, seamless API sync across Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking. com. Double bookings are a non-starter. Guesty handles this well for me, but I hear OwnerRez has a great track record on API connections too.

AI Automations & Built-in Task Management: Hospitable seems to get a lot of praise for AI guest messaging, but how does it hold up for complex dispatching to cleaners/handymen compared to Guesty or Hostaway?

Calendar Blocking Between OTAs: Speed of date-blocking across channels once an instant book comes through.

For anyone who has migrated between these specific platforms recently, how do they hold up in practice on these exact points?

Why does algae keep coming back when my chlorine levels are fine?

I've been dealing with algae showing up on the walls every couple weeks despite keeping chlorine in range. It's mostly in the corners and around the steps, sometimes a thin film on the shallow end floor too. It seems to show up worse after a storm or after a weekend where we had people over and the pool got used a lot.

Chlorine's been sitting around 3 to 4 ppm most weeks, pH stays around 7.4 to 7.6, so on paper things look fine. I brush the walls maybe twice a week, sometimes I'll do a focused scrub on the corners specifically since that's where it keeps coming back. I've caught myself brushing at night and then noticing a faint green tint again the next morning, which is honestly kind of annoying at this point.

Trying to figure out what's actually causing it. My best guesses are the tree coverage around the yard dropping stuff in more than I realize, the pool getting a lot of direct sun most of the afternoon, or the circulation just not running long enough to keep everything moving through the filter. We also use the pool a lot on weekends, so more bodies in the water probably isn't helping either.

Equipment wise I've got a basic test kit, a brush, and some algaecide I use when it gets bad. I also run my Scuba V3 a few times a week , which has helped with debris and the film that builds up on the floor and steps, but the wall algae in the corners is still doing its own thing regardless.

Not sure if I need to bump up my free chlorine target, add a brominator, run the pump longer, or if there's a specific algaecide that actually works better for recurring corner algae like this. Anyone dealt with something similar?

Best proxy setup for retail drops? Current stack is failing

Been copping US retail drops for about 2 years now, mostly Nike SNKRS, Footsites, and some Shopify releases like Kith and Palace. My current setup just isn't performing anymore. Getting flagged on entry and losing checkout races on drops I would have cooked easily last year.

Current stack looks like this:

- Residential from a mainstream provider I've been on for over a year

- Datacenter for warmup and monitoring

- 30-50 tasks per drop across NikeShoeBot and MEK

- Non-VoIP SMS for account verification but the pool keeps giving me flagged numbers

What's happening:

- Sessions flagging on entry, feels like my residential pool is completely burned

- Shopify drops on protected sites (Kith, DSM) checkout time went from ~3 seconds to sometimes not going through at all

-New Nike accounts failing verification, half the numbers don't pass them

Rebuilding from scratch and trying to figure out the right approach for 2026. From what I've been reading, mobile is apparently better on SNKRS now, ISP is still the sweet spot for Shopify checkout speed.

Provider-wise I've been looking at the usual providers Oxylabs, NodeMaven, DataImpulse plus Voidmob for the mobile side since they also bundle non-VoIP SMS. Not committed to any of them yet.

What I actually want to know:

Is mobile really beating residential on SNKRS or is that mostly provider marketing?

Anyone found a non-VoIP SMS source that actually passes carrier check consistently? The pool services keep failing me

Any advice on providers?

Willing to pay for what works, not chasing the cheapest option. Just need something that holds on drop day.
