I ordered a Google pixel 7 phone from Amazon and recieved the phone on 07/10/2026. The phone display stopped responding 1hr after setting up the phone.I contacted customer care for refund,but they told that the product comes under the category of brand replacement and I have to contact the Google service centre. Today I went to Google service centre only to find out that the product isn't genuine.

The pixel phone box usually have the serial number printed in them whereas mine had it sticked.

And the warranty had already expired at 2023.

Also pixel phones sim tray has a serial number which was missing in mine.

They refused to give any written proof as they say the product is refurbished and out of warranty.

When I told the customer care about this they are telling me that they can't take any action without written proof from the brand. Idk what to do, this was the 1st phone I brought using my own money and it ended up like this.

Right now I've mailed amazon grievance officer, Google support and filed a complaint in NCH. Any suggestions to speed up the process or strengthen the case.

Hi cocos, which are some good ssc, ibps coaching centres in Kerala? Does preparing for UPSC help in clearing these.

Also, I am already 26. I might be able to start my preparation only from next March or so. Is it still worth pursuing at this age?

So I got circumcised as an infant for medical reasons. I knew the thing pretty early (5 or 6) because my parents told me about it. Then something happened. These people(father, mother, brother, cousins) started making fun of me for it.

They started calling me names like 'thumbuchethi' which literally means the one who got his tip cut. They use this every time. In argument if they are failing they (this not parents. They called names. This part is done by cousins and brother) literally say 'you 've no say because your tip is cut' and things like that. And this has continued for ten or so years. Now it stopped (just last year) but still bothers me on top of that I researched about it and found its bad sides like sensitivity loss. Now I think about it every single time when I see it. I feel like something is not normal about me. I feel like I'm missing out. I feel like it shouldn't have done. I don't even know why it was done to me. I can't ask them (parents) because they're also the ones who keep calling me names and stuff.

I assume a number of us here must be living in hostels or other sort of living arrangements where we have to share the living space with somebody else. One thing I want you to ask yourself is this, "Am I a good roommate?". Well if you follow all or most of these pointers then you are a good roommate!

1. Respect each other's privacy, be it unwanted snooping or private space.

2. Don't set an alarm if you're not going to hear it or if you're going to snooze it a billion times.

3. Try to be friendly with your roommate.

4. Try to be considerate when it comes to the usage of common utilities.

5. Maintain a basic level of cleanliness.

6. If you're a snorer, try doing something about it instead of running your diesel engine all night disturbing other people's sleep.

7. When you get calls, try to find a somewhere private or atleast go outside your room to talk. 9 times out 10, your roommate doesn't want to listen in to your family or love life.

If you have any other advices to add into it, please do chip in. Also, share your horrible roommate experiences as well?

My dog has been in a bad condition for the past two weeks. She’s 15 (in human age, that’s like 90 years old). She’s suffering from kidney failure and a low blood count. We’ve been treating her properly and giving her all the medical care she needs. But since yesterday, her condition has become critical. She started crying loudly because of the pain.

This morning, she had a seizure, and for a moment, we thought that was it. I even saw tears in my dad’s eyes, but somehow, she survived. After that, though, she started crying continuously. We took her to the hospital, where she had another seizure, and the doctor told us that this might be it. But she survived that one too. Now, her energy is completely drained, and every breath she takes is a cry of pain.

We brought her back home because the doctor said there was nothing more that could be done. 15 yrs koode oru family member aayit jeevichatha, veetil aane complete silence and the only sound is of her cries.

Before we left the hospital, the doctor asked us whether we wanted to euthanize her. At that moment, we simply couldn’t come to a decision. But now, seeing her in this much pain, we’re seriously considering it, yet we still can’t bring ourselves to make that decision. This is one of the hardest decisions anyone can make. I honestly don’t know what the right thing to do is.
