Roommate Etiquettes!!!
I assume a number of us here must be living in hostels or other sort of living arrangements where we have to share the living space with somebody else. One thing I want you to ask yourself is this, "Am I a good roommate?". Well if you follow all or most of these pointers then you are a good roommate!
Respect each other's privacy, be it unwanted snooping or private space.
Don't set an alarm if you're not going to hear it or if you're going to snooze it a billion times.
Try to be friendly with your roommate.
Try to be considerate when it comes to the usage of common utilities.
Maintain a basic level of cleanliness.
If you're a snorer, try doing something about it instead of running your diesel engine all night disturbing other people's sleep.
When you get calls, try to find a somewhere private or atleast go outside your room to talk. 9 times out 10, your roommate doesn't want to listen in to your family or love life.
