I’m struggling to create visibility for myself at work. I usually keep a low profile and focus on getting my work done, but I’m starting to feel like that might be holding me back.
I find it really hard to break the ice with coworkers. Most people don’t seem interested in interacting, and I’m not sure how to approach them without making things awkward.

അവസാനം കോളേജ് placement ഇൽ ജോലി കിട്ടി. പക്ഷെ ഇപ്പൊ ഇവർ പറയുന്നത് 2 week ടെസ്റ്റ് നടത്തി eliminate ചെയ്യും എന്നാണ്. ഞാൻ നാട്ടിൽ നിന്നും പെട്ടിയും കിടക്കയും എടുത്ത് ഇവിടെ നിൽപ്പാണ്. 1000 പേരിൽ ടെസ്റ്റ് നടത്തി, അതിൽ നിന്ന് 100 പേരെ ഇന്റർവ്യൂ ചെയ്തു. ആ 100 പേരിൽ നിന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ ഉൾപ്പെടെ 31 പേരെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. എന്നാൽ 2 ആഴ്ചത്തെ അസസ്മെന്റും എലിമിനേഷൻ പ്രോസസും ഉണ്ടെന്ന കാര്യം ഇന്റർവ്യൂ സമയത്തോ ക്യാമ്പസ് റിക്രൂട്ട്മെന്റ് സമയത്തോ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. ഇവിടെ ജോയിൻ ചെയ്തതിന് ശേഷമാണ് അത് അറിയിച്ചത്. ജോലി കിട്ടി എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നും ഇറങ്ങി. പിന്നെ എന്തിനാണാവോ offer letter തന്നു ഇങ്ങോട്ട് വിളിച്ചു വരുത്തിയത്. ഒരുമാതിരി Betrayal Feel. ജോലി ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നപ്പോ ഇത്രയും അവസ്ഥ വിഷമം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
പണ്ട് മുതലേ കേൾക്കുന്നത് ആണ്…

അങ്ങനെ കേട്ടും കണ്ടും വളർന്ന ഞാൻ,
ഒരിക്കലും plan ചെയ്ത് choose ചെയ്തതല്ല കൊച്ചി.
പക്ഷേ അവസാനം ജീവിതം തന്നെ എന്നെ ഇവിടെ എത്തിച്ചു.
Now I got a job in Kochi.
സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാൽ excitement ഉം fear ഉം രണ്ടും ഉണ്ട്.
പുതിയ നഗരം, പുതിയ ആളുകൾ, പുതിയ ജീവിതം.
ഒരു sideil “finally independent life” എന്ന feel…
മറ്റൊരു sideil “ഇവിടെ survive ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റുമോ?” എന്ന doubt.

I’m planning to tell her while we’re walking together someday because that feels natural and comfortable. I don’t want anything too dramatic or cheesy, just something simple and genuine.

I like this girl a lot and I really enjoy talking to her. Seeing her makes me happy. Before telling her my feelings, I asked her casually what she thinks about relationships. She said she doesn’t want one because she doesn’t want to feel controlled by men.
I totally respect that, and honestly I’m not that kind of person. But now I’m confused if I should still tell her how I feel or just leave it.
I’ve been using Kerala State Road Transport Corporation buses for the last 5 years and I spend around ₹2000 every month on travel.
I don’t understand why free travel schemes should be based only on gender. There are a lot of students, job seekers and low income people who also struggle with travel expenses.
Why not make it based on financial condition instead? That would help the people who actually need support, regardless of gender.
