I feel like people have very different relationships with Kochi.

For some, Kochi feels like a land of survival work, rent, traffic, and just getting through the month.

Some genuinely love Kochi and enjoy the lifestyle here.

And some are simply forced to live here because of their job, studies, family, or other reasons.

Kochi isn’t necessarily a bad place. But from what I’ve noticed, a lot of people living here are actually from outside Kochi and came here because they had to.

So, what’s your reason for staying in Kochi?

Are there any aspiring indie filmmakers in Kochi who would be interested in a casual hangout?

I’m hoping to meet people who are interested in direction, writing, cinematography, editing, sound, acting, music, or anything related to filmmaking.

No big plans or expectations just a bunch of people who are interested in cinema, meeting up, sharing ideas, talking about films, and maybe eventually collaborating on a small short film.

I'm currently in probation of my job. Just started as a fresher. In my past I tried to enter film industry as a writer and director. Now I got a chance to assist in a film but now I'm not sure about it. If I resign my job everything will be changed. And if I don't join as a assistant director I don't know I'll regret in future.

I’m struggling to create visibility for myself at work. I usually keep a low profile and focus on getting my work done, but I’m starting to feel like that might be holding me back.

I find it really hard to break the ice with coworkers. Most people don’t seem interested in interacting, and I’m not sure how to approach them without making things awkward.

How important is visibility in the workplace?
