coding for 7+ years and still failing to get good opportunities

I don't know where I went wrong in career, I started coding when I was in high school , was certified with oracle, google etc certificates when I was in high school, developed android app in high school that got thousands of download (more than 40000).....

Apart from that I have studied in one of the top 8 IITs just graduated (in lower branch tho, decent cpi 9ish) , I have done GSOC, LFX in relevant projects , contributed to open source as well

I have done internships in good company on campus as well yet I feel world is going in a different direction than me, I am unable to get any shortlist in any offcampus opportunity (applied to 60+ opportunities by now) , it's not like I am getting rejecting after any rounds, I am not even getting past basic screening, not even getting test links...

so what is really wrong ? where am I wrong? I have experience of deploying applications, scaling products to real users, got selected in incubation programs by google etc as well

Am I not pitching it correctly ( I tried ATS , job resume matchers as well) ?? Or is there genuinely no good jobs ?? (Only callls I get from is some basic 10-12 LPA packages type stuff)

Worst part is I am currently just looking for some intern or contract based opportunities for few months and I can't even find that???

I have tried YC Job site, LinkedIN , glassdoor, Hacker News still nothing I can't get a callback?? is this because of AI based applications??

College is over time to reflect

I am someone from 2022 batch and college is over finally , results are out today and we all are finally free from this....

All of us 22 batch people faced many things in this college, we saw great changes in college during our time, man I never expected we'll get ACs in our LTs and I know the current and upcoming batches will find it hard to imagine how people have studied in those classes without ACs.

I already see the -1 batch not believing that there was time without any barricading in front of rajputana or a time when trical roof was open

We came at the time of covid , with such a small first semester , and I remember in the first sem when someone first told me about chat gpt in a tronics lab. and now we are again at a time when career seems so uncertain due to this ai sh*t n all.

learnt a lot of things during this college (not academic) about life , people and handling tough situations.

I was never in awe of this city despite of so much hype on instagram, this city isn't too bad but didn't really find it life changing or anything like that, good wishes to anyone who found peace her as they say

If I could go back I might not change anything at all that I did in college because without that I wouldn't be the same person as I am today

Signing off!
