Advice on new vs used

We are launching a mobile vendor business (not a food truck) and settled on a transit 250 or 350 cargo van, 148” WB, high roof.

Our next decision is to go used or new? It seems the risk with used is that depending on previous ownership, these vans can get pretty beaten up.

Looking for any experience on buying used and what, if any, headaches were involved. Thank you!

Up fitter recs for a mobile vendor

I fully understand this is a FOODtruck sub and I’m here asking about a vendor/ shop truck (not food) having no knowledge of the space…please go easy on me. All my googling takes me back to this sub!

A friend and I are looking to launch a mobile shop and I’m hoping to get recommendations on an up-fitter in the NY/NJ/CT tri state area. The plan for now is to convert a Ford Transit or ProMaster with a side window and display case. Any recommendations and/or advice are very welcome!
