Anybody from engineering tech careers, based on your experiences. How many years/times you need change company just to earn a higher salary increase?

I just got an offer as a Equipment Engineer fresh graduate with a salary rm3.2k in Penang minus epf. Im still new in building my own financial goals. With a monthly commitments like rental,bills,food,etc = estimate rm1k. What should i do with remaining balance? How much emergency fund shoud i saved, invest in ASB or put in ETFs?
