I have never been that social or outgoing and prefer to stay in and keep to myself. Im a nice person but come off as pretty standoffish in person tbh. Probably the most handy 32 year old that exists, jack of all trades master of none. I've moved out of my parents a few times but always ended up back with them because when I have too much on my plate I get overwhelmed and completely shut down. Probably autistic but having such high expectations from the outside my entire life has lead to s+ tier masking has just become my personality at this point. I was an addict from 18-28 and have been (mostly) sober for the last 4 years.

Long story short, I damaged my alphacool 6800xt waterblock and wanted to order the same exact one to replace it. ModMyMods and alphacool themselves were the only two places I found the waterblock. Well, ModMyMods is in the US so obviously im going to order from them and pay for two day shipping on the part that is listed as "in stock" so I can get my PC back up in only a few days.

Jokes on me, I didnt research this shady company beforehand. Order was placed on April 10th for a part listed as "in stock". Didn't get a tracking number until April 30th. And guess what, they didnt even send it two day like I paid for. I got standard FedEx. Ripoff. If I would have just ordered from Alphacool overseas, I would have both paid less and gotten my part quicker without the deception, but these swindlers bamboozled me.

Did you know in the US it is against federal law to list items as "in stock" when they are not? ModMyMods likely uses the "its in stock, just overseas!" loophole, which is extremely dishonest and a poor business practice. Honestly, if you can get whatever you need from a more honest retailer I would go that route and avoid these guys at all costs.
