Did anyone else notice Google changed its logo to feature the USA crest during the current FIFA tournament?
Throughout the FIFA 2026 tournament, Google didn't modify its logo for the matches of other national teams. Yet when the USA played, suddenly the Google logo featured the U.S. Soccer crest.
If Google wants to claim neutrality, why selectively promote one national team over the others? Either celebrate every participating country equally or don't do it at all.
To me, this looks like preferential treatment rather than impartial celebration. Big tech companies constantly claim they're neutral, but actions like these make people question that.
What do you think? Is this just harmless branding, or another example of corporate bias?
