Is Internship Studio / IStudio internship genuine? iCAT qualified, ₹880 payment required

Hi everyone,

I recently qualified for the iCAT exam conducted by Internship Studio (IStudio), and they are now asking me to pay ₹880 to proceed with the internship.

They told me that this amount will be refunded after successfully completing the internship.

Before paying, I wanted to ask:

- Has anyone here actually done an internship through Internship Studio/IStudio?

- Is the organization and internship genuine?

- Did you actually receive the ₹880 refund after completing the internship?

- Is the internship useful/worth putting on a CV, or is it mainly a certificate/payment-based program?

- Are there any hidden charges later?

Chess study materials for gaining advantage by positional style play vs tactical , aggressive , calculative players

I’ve noticed that I often struggle against very aggressive, tactical players in chess. I’m curious about the opposite side of the game: strong positional play, prophylaxis, maneuvering, and slowly improving a position.

Which players would you recommend studying to develop this style? Are there particular games, game collections, or classic examples that teach how to neutralize attacking players through positional understanding rather than direct tactical battles?

I’d especially appreciate recommendations for players whose games demonstrate:

  • Restricting the opponent’s counterplay
  • Improving pieces step by step
  • Prophylactic thinking
  • Converting small advantages patiently

Gemini Lagna – 5th Lord Venus in Lagna with Ketu in the 5th (Libra). How would you interpret this combination?

I'm trying to understand a few key combinations in my chart from both a classical Parāśari and Jaimini perspective.

D1 (Rāśi):

  • Gemini Lagna
  • Ketu in the 5th house (Libra)
  • 5th lord Venus placed in the Lagna (Gemini)
  • Venus is conjunct Moon and Saturn.
  • Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter are conjunct in the 3rd house (Leo).

Planetary strengths (JHora):

  • Venus has good Vimsopaka Bala (around 80%+) and good Shadbala.
  • Mercury is my strongest planet by Shadbala.
  • Mars has adequate Shadbala but very low Ishta Phala and high Kashta Phala.
  • Ketu has relatively lower Vimsopaka strength.

D9 (Navāṁśa):

  • Atmakaraka: Saturn
  • Karakāṁśa: Taurus
  • 12th from Karakāṁśa: Aries (lord Mars)

I've often read that Ketu in the 5th can indicate unconventional intelligence, detachment from 5th-house matters, interest in spirituality or research, and non-linear education. At the same time, many astrologers say the results depend heavily on the 5th lord, and in my case Venus is in the Lagna and appears reasonably strong.

Chess materials or games which can help me learn how to improve a position

I'm looking for highly instructive chess games where one player starts with a clearly inferior or strategically unpleasant position, but instead of relying on a tactical blunder or a cheap trick, they gradually improve their position move by move until they equalize or even win.

I'm specifically trying to learn how to improve bad positions, so I'm looking for games that demonstrate ideas such as:

  • Improving the worst-placed piece.
  • Finding useful waiting/improving moves instead of forcing tactics.
  • Defending patiently and neutralizing the opponent's advantages.
  • Creating counterplay from an inferior position.
  • Turning a cramped or passive position into an active one.

Intuition behind σ-algebra (not the formal definition) and how it differs from topology?

I've been learning probability and measure theory, and while I understand the formal definition of a σ-algebra, I'm struggling to understand the intuition behind why it is defined that way.

I'm not looking for the mathematical definition itself, but rather the reasoning and intuition behind it.

Some of the questions I have are:

- Why must a σ-algebra be closed under countable unions? Why countable instead of arbitrary unions?

- Is there a similar requirement for intersections? I might be mistaken, but I'm confused about why intersections seem to work differently.

- What is the intuition behind requiring complements?

- How did mathematicians arrive at these particular axioms? What problem were they trying to solve?

- How is a σ-algebra fundamentally different from a topology? They both seem to involve collections of subsets that satisfy closure properties, so what's the conceptual difference?
