Long 5 month of confusion
It has been a long almost 5 months of confusion. I slept with a guy in early April and had itchy vaginal and irritation nothing else after 2 days. Later started getting leg sensation, tingles on both legs all the way up to my head, muscle twitches all over body, and leg burning/numbness on one leg(right side), zaps when I’m wearing tight clothes only. most of these came a months after potentially being exposed. I’ve had 5 negative pcr swabs. I go in every time I feel a symptom and always negative. The doctors keep saying it’s not Hsv but I can’t shake it off. I’ve never developed a sore or blisters down there. I’ve developed so much anxiety and stress because of this. Does Hsv work this way? I’m still having vaginal irritation and it’s been almost 5 months. I tested positive for hsv 1 as I knew it would. I get a small tiny red bump on my lip 2-3 times a year so I always suspected I had oral hsv. Has anyone experienced anything like this? We did not have oral either. Should I believe the negative swabs? I also convinced my doctor to prescribe daily antivirals hoping my vaginal irritation would go away but nothing no changes. The doctor prescribed an estrogen cream which helps very little only been using for a week and half.
Is it normal to experience non stop leg sensation for months without ever getting an outbreak? Terri Warren always it’s extremely unlikely to contract in two different places. Not sure what to believe.
