My creature (plus question)

(EDIT, please read my other comments)

This is my boy, about 15 years old, uromastyx. (With some debate about species, either Mali or Moroccan)

His tank is custom, my grandpa and I made it, the front doors and side windows of his tank are acrylic, but he scratches them up like crazy! It's nearly impossible to look through them these days, my dad and I are planning to polish them up while I'm home for the summer, but does anyone have advice for keeping the scratches to a minimum?

The reason there are scratches is because he tank surfs, before anyone suggests stress, boredom or other issues, he's done this his whole life, even with a tank upgrade and an improved diet, he has plenty of time to play and stay entertained. I'm not looking to stop him tank surfing, since he's done it for as long as we've had him, just hoping to keep the scratches on his acrylic doors and windows to a minimum. Anything helps!

(Edit: did the math, he's approximately 15 years, 3.5 months old)

Edit 2: To everyone who is saying his enclosure is small, I'm well aware it's not the recommended 4x2x2, as explained in one of my comments, I was a minor when we got him, and there wasn't great information about species care, his enclosures in the past were far from acceptable, but at this point due to mistakes made in his care from his original owner, he has issues from MBD, weak kidneys, and brain damage from a lack of oxygen during transport.

As soon as I turned 18 I purchased a 4x2x2, and he starved himself in it, causing me to have to fly across the country to take him to the vet. We've tried numerous enclosures at this point, and this is THE ONLY enclosure he's been in that he'll reliably eat in. So I will say again I'm well aware his enclosure isn't 4x2x2, but he WILL NOT EAT in any enclosure bigger than this!

My resident creature of greed and stink

Back home for the summer, expect to see more of Lennie.

He's giving me the stink eye because he needs to poop and he blames me for it.

Tagged deer in MoCo

Saw this lovely yearling deer in my backyard today while doing some cleaning, they have two yellow ear tags with the number three (3) on it. My mom and I tried to do some research and found that he/she might be part of a study, but there's a lot of conflicting information.

Anyone else see something like this or know more about it?
