I had my first laparoscopy and cystoscopy performed earlier this week. I’m curious how long you guys wore your waist binder for? I’ve taken it off a handful of times to let my skin breath, but would love to know others experiences.

I am getting a laparoscopy for my endo and laser hydrodistension for my interstital cystitis performed next week. I have no idea what to expect pain wise or have much of a clue on how to prepare for post op. My doctor basically said everyone has different experiences as far as recovery time/pain levels.

I plan to stock up on my cbn/cbd/thc gummies because they help with pain, as well as getting meals prepped and thrown in the freezer for convenience. I do have help with my dog getting walked (I live in an apartment).

I am hoping to be able to do some of the things I generally enjoy; sitting outside in the sun, dipping my toes at the beach/pool (no swimming unfortunately w incisions :(( ), going on short walks.

Any other good recommendations on how to make sure I have everything I could possibly need? Or just any generally tips or kind advice would be really appreciated.
