hi guys i want to ask seniors or people who are already at jnu. my reporting time is 10.30AM. will it be a problem if i report 1 hr later?? like around noon???? I'll be traveling long distance by train so there is a 90% chance of delay. I hope the admission committee is lenient in this case. pls confirm!!
hii so i know we'll get hostels in 7-10 days after physical verification. but i want to ask how the condition of the hostel is or whether there are some restrictions. lastly, about the food, please at least tell me they include some protein options
Hiii so as the title says i wanna withdraw from du as I've got jnu. today round 2 ends if i believe?? if i withdraw by today, will i get a full refund???? and how does it work like do I need to just click on the 'withdraw' option on csas pg portal??
hiii so i got my reporting date as 10th of July. However it's very soon for me and it's impossible for me to make it there on time. How do I extend it??? Do they respond to mails??
I'm filling out the PG form or whatever idc right now . I've paid the fees and currently in the "upload documents" step. I've uploaded all my documents , degree, 10th and 12th, character, migration, anti-ragging undertaking, aadhar, voter id, domicile certificate - all of it. according to the instruction, the submit button should appear after you've uploaded all the required documents. BUT THE SUBMIT BUTTON ISN'T THERE. I'm so annoyed. I'm trying since last night. I've checked hundreds of times for any error, refreshed the portal multiple times but still no change. i want to ask who tf is behind this? are the technical team dead? yesterday I paid through upi, while the transaction was successful it was still not reflected on the form. So i had to pay for a second time last night. now I'm stuck with 'upload documents'. this feels like a mental harassment atp. students try so hard to get into a top uni like jnu but the admission procedure is enough to make me regret this decision. what do I do. What's the last date of submission?
FIX THE FUCKING BUG PLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hiii guys so i have an extremely conservative family and they all are fearmongering right now. theyre really insisting that jnu is unsafe and prompting me to reject the seat. I'm not going to do that since i really like jnu. but i want to be cautious about safety concerns. I'd really like an honest point of view of someone who's already studying there.
i paid the fees to jnu but it's not reflected although the transaction was successful. It's been 6hrs should I wait till midnight or pay the fees again. I have also mailed them but they've not responded yet
for context, i got into msc molecular medicine and i paid the fees but it is not reflected:((( i desparately wanted to complete all the steps so that I can receive my token number and admission date. without the exact admission date, i can't book tickets in advance. I'm worried
I WANTED LIFE SCIENCES BC KITNA CUTOFF GYA HAI YARR 😭😭😭😭😭
when tf are they going to release it ik it's tentative but I'm so annoyed why is Indian academia like this why do they never decide a specific time like pehle du ne delay kiya and ab jnu bhi. and both these uni's schedule is not aligned either. why are they fucking with me

I have a doubt. If we get our names on 1st round cutoff and accept the seat, how long does jnu take to provide exact reporting schedule like date and time for physical verification?? for people who live outside Delhi planning to travel by train, is it possible to book tickets just 15-20 days prior to admission date?? it takes 24hrs to get to delhi from where i live so i have to book in advance idk why i have this irrational fear of missing the train and sabotaging my admission
hiii yall so i got a seat at department of zoology (north campus) im a master's student and it will be my first time in delhi. i don't know how househunting works and am feeling extremely nervous about this whole thing. can someone who lives there rn tell me which areas to avoid, which areas have good accommodation and tips on how to find a decent flat or PG? I'll probably look for a flatmate as well soooo if you're interested let's talk
yall i got a seat at department of zoology,du im also waiting for jnu, it will be first time in delhi and im so scared omg . jnu is my preference for easier accommodation. but if I can't get jnu, then ill have to settle for du. Im really stressed about housing, rent, and travel PLEASE help ya girl out. share survival tips for du, finding affordable flat/pg/hostel, and managing travelling and classes 😭🙏
I changed my category from OBC to general cuz my certificate was getting constantly rejected. The mental exhaustion with the govt bureaucratic system was too much. But i reduced my chances of getting into jnu by switching to general. as so many students have scored so well this year, the cutoff will probably go higher. what can I expect from 1st round???
