I noticed on my renewal docs I am getting a student discount but I’m no longer a student i don’t know how long this has been I’m thinking 4 years and I never thought to notify my insurer because well life happened and I never read my renewal until today (😂) anyways I will notify them but will they cancel my insurance over this or likely just cancel the discount? I don’t know why I’m so worried? It was an honest mistake

I’m with an insurance that was switched from another lender. I had a student discount at the time and didn’t realize it carried over as a discount on my current plan. Is this a problem? I am going to call Tuesday to advise but now I feel like I missed this because I’ve been with the new company for 3 years and seriously never read my renewal docs.
I had insurance and the provider was switched (bought by a new company!m) at the time I had an alumni discount on my package but I since did not finish my studies. I’m still getting the discount and I did not even notice until I read my renewal docs today. Is this a problem? I will call them about it but this isn’t something to get insurance revoked for is it? It was a honest mistake I still did atend the school and have enough credits to graduate but I’m 2 courses short of my major.
