hello pooo! i’m currently a grade 12 stem student, and i’m planning po na gawing 2nd choice yung accountancy. dream course ko po talaga ang accountancy, pero nahila ako ng mga friends ko sa stem because they said na mas maraming opportunities daw, since stem napo ako, bs statistics yung current plan ko kasi i also like stats naman, pero until now pinag iisipan ko pa rin if i should pursue accountancy. (ayoko sya maging totga huhu)

ang worry ko po is wala akong masyadong background sa accounting since stem ako, so medyo nakakatakot isipin kung kaya ko bang makipagsabayan sa mga abm grad students, especially sa qualifying exams and retention reqs. planning ko rin po sana mag aral sa state university, pero i’ve heard na may ibang schools na mas priority or may advantage ang abm graduates when applying for accountancy.

so i also want to ask, does the school really matter that much in accountancy, especially when it comes to cpale performance and opportunities after graduation? and lastly, do you think kayang kaya naman ng isang stem student makipagsabayan sa abm students sa accountancy, kahit starting from almost zero yung accounting background? i’m really scared po kasi baka mahirapan ako at mapressure sa qualifying exams, pero accountancy has always been my dream course :(

guys HAHSHAHHAAHAA curious lang ako kung totoo bang mataas talaga ang sahod ng civil engineers, kasi im currently a grade 12 student and most of my friends are planning to take CE mainly because they believe na malaki raw yung sahod, im wondering din if oversaturated naba yung CE field for our generation, especially with how many students are choosing CE, napapansin ko rin na sa maraming universities ngayon, parang ang daming students na nagtatarget ng CE na course uhuhhu kaya nagiging quota sya. sa tingin nyo po, worth it pa rin ba mag take ng civil engineering ngayon?

guys, mas higher ba yung chance na makapasa if upou yung ilagay ko sa 2nd choice? nanghihinayang kasi ako sa options since 2 courses lang yung offered sa upou, pero I actually like both naman. upb yung 2nd choice ko ngayon, and okay lang din naman yung course for me since passion ko rin naman. Pero if upou yung piliin ko, mas mataas ba yung chance na makapasa ako? tia po!!!

hello poo, i want to ask po if same lang po ba yung job opportunities ng bs math and bs stats? dream program ko po kasi talaga ang bs statistics, kaso most of the schools na malapit po sa amin bs math lang yung inooffer, kaya medyo pinag-iisipan ko rin po if okay lang mag bs math instead. If bs math po yung kunin ko, possible po ba na magkaroon din ako ng similar career opportunities sa mga jobs na usually related sa stats, and may advantage po ba ang bs stats compared sa bs math when it comes to job opportunities? tyia po!!

hello po, ask lang po if quota poba ang bs math sa plm? huhuh feeling ko po kasi mababa yung chance ko since non-manila resident po ako, and bs math po yung priority program ko. medyo kinakabahan lang po ako kasi sabi ng iba mas mataas yung chance ng manila residents, and especially if limited lang yung slots for the program :(
