(24//MTF) Imago.tg blood test assistance!
Hiya all, I am a (24) trans female hoping to start my estrogen mono-therapy with Imago next week, assuming the bloods go well!
My initial appointment is on Thursday so I am trying to get as much ready as possible for then so I can start ASAP.
Assuming this is not an annoying question that's been asked a million times, how did everyone go about acquiring their initial blood tests ready for the endo appointment outside of the NHS? I will be going to a clinic or pharmacy etc to get these done and NOT drawing it myself (sorry not sure if this is obvious to state and don't want to be banned already).
...Are there separate tests that I will need to purchase?
The criteria for Imago feminizing HRT are:
- Full blood count (white blood cells, red blood cells, haemoglobin, platelets, haematocrit, mean corpuscular volume )
- Liver Function tests (ALT, AST, ALP, bilirubin)
- Fasting glucose
- Urea and electrolytes/ Kidney panel (Creatinine, eGFR, Urea, Potassium, Sodium)
- Lipids /cholesterol panel (total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL)
Blood pressure reading, height, weight(I already should have this on record due to ADHD meds but kept this here in case it's useful for anyone else?)- Prolactin (PRL)
- Testosterone and Estradiol (Total Testosterone and E2)
Any advice very much appreciated as I am completely at a wall with accessing this part... I have tried using google all night and really do need a hand.
Thank you so much :)
