Can't Pay on StubHub, Vivid Tickets, or literally any other service that claims to let me buy concert tickets that way
Can someone please suggest what I should try to do as there's a concert coming up on the 24th and I'm trying to buy 2 tickets for it and the section I would like to be in so I can see the concert well enough is coming in at around $114 for both tickets , but sometimes it might be right over it. Either way my Afterpay balance is supposed to be $125 so even with fees and taxes if it goes up to 124 technically AfterPay should take care of it correct?
It's very frustrating because I have used AfterPay only one time before and that was when I first got access to it and I've yet to use it since as I hate having to owe money in more installations as I'm usually maxed at my Borrowing limit within cash app as well. Heck I even used Klarna and on one site I was allowed to set up some what of a payment thing but it was literally just me pay like $90, and then $8 over the next 8 weeks every 2 weeks. And the other site allowed me to do nothing with Klarna but pay it all at once.
Is there every going to be a time as an adult that we are allowed to work jobs like Teachers where we take on the brunt of Educational reform being attacked in ways people outside of classrooms would not even begin to believe if we told them? We take home the work of the classrooms of 60 kids, most of the time more depending what you teach, and you also take home the trauma those poor kids either cause you and the rest of the classroom because they themselves are going through trauma and don't understand how to deal with it because they're just children or they're probably just going to grow up and be awful people cuz I promise you 90% of terrible adults or more than likely pretty bad kids too and I've seen it over 15 years development is very vital at certain points in people's lives and if they are left behind in certain places whether that be educationally or emotionally with their intelligence they are left to fend for themselves and sometimes fending for yourself turns you into a fighter and you never are able to let that go.
Enough about complaining about work as I sit here and do a two and a half hour training I didn't get done that's due today before I even have to be at work in 2 hours I just want to go to this concert next Monday and I just want to take my friend cuz I told her I'm going to take her somewhere as a surprise and the better seats I could pay them out of pocket but then I'm broke until I get paid again at the end of the month to just pay my rent again I don't understand the point of having the ability to make things and extendable process where I pay it later if I can't even use it? I mean at this point it makes me wonder do I just get really really crappy ticket seats cuz what is she going to say you know oh you took me a free concert but we're in bad seats oh well we're both teachers she'll get it. but it's the first time we're hanging out outside of work together I don't want to make a bad impression not that it would or not that this is like a date or anything but still we need to go out with people you want to have a good time I think we'll have a good time either way but I don't know it just would have been cool to be able to see the stage I'm getting too old I can't see things as well and I also want to talk about this why in God's name are tickets to the pit $291 and some of them are $1,052. I legitimately understand why I haven't really gone to shows lately and by lately I mean in years just about. the last concert I went to was armor for sleep on the like 20th year anniversary of what to do with your dad I felt so old in there because all of us were sitting down nobody was standing up and then before that it was like 8 years ago when Anthony Green was still with Circa Survive and Thrice opened for them and I haven't seen either of those bands since hell Anthony's not even in that band anymore they kicked him out.
This is how I know I'm getting old because I wanted to stop talking about this a long time ago and the more and more I discuss it the more and more angry I get thinking about when Millennials got to go to Warped Tour for $15 to $30 and see 300 to 400 bands in a day if you wanted!!! Take us back because I just watched Amazon Prime show me Warped Tour and I hated every minute of it except for Thrice's performance because it was amazing Silverstein didn't sound too bad either, but still why is Bezos involved in Warped Tour do you guys not have enough money? Do you need to take our money for packages and our happiness?
come back to my original point can somebody please explain to me what I can do to be able to buy these tickets because I'm afraid if I keep waiting like I have put it off for days and days I'm going to not be able to get the ticket in the section I want and we're going to have to settle for the nosebleeds or in this case since it's in a baseball field places called The dugout seating. it said something about when it was rotating and telling me StubHub was thinking about letting me use my own money and credit that I built over these past 38 years my life to allow myself a few hours of happiness as I contemplate on paying $400 for a T-shirt and 75 for a hot dog and a Coke but no it stopped rolling took me to the afterpay page had his hands up like I don't know and then told me something about it couldn't do the installment and something about a 48 hours or later or something and said we could try something else I don't know what else is going to try considering the money's there I have the money to pay the whatever fee or whatever amount beforehand cuz I know that's what it is you can't just expect to use your afterpay for free you got to be able to pay something first I get it. that's why I even tried Klarna in the first place cuz I don't even use Klarna, hey we're going to let me use it in one of the scenarios and I'm going to pay like 80% of them they were going to trust me. Idk man Affirm wouldn't let me, Zip denied, PayPal definitely did, so I'm unsure what to do.
I tried both in the Cash App platform directly using AfterPay, and Afterpays independent app as well. Do you think if I somehow find the card that AfterPay was telling me to place in when checking out in one of the attempts that thisihht bypass them saying I can't, or am I going to have to do the things that I don't want to do and most millennials don't want to do and talk to somebody that works at a cash at place telling me their name is something that I know it's not and they're going to be as unhelpful as they always are? because it said something about like I said 48 hour wait if I wait 48 hours then it'll be what Wednesday or Thursday the concert will be four or five days away I doubt it's going to sell out but on the off chance that it does then I'm at the mercy of scalpers you think scalpers are going to take afterpay probably not so any suggestions here are much appreciated thanks guys have a good day and enjoy your Monday!
