Vozim Triumph Trident 660 i nedavno sam prešao s Michelin Road 5 na Michelin Power 6. Danas sam ih prvi put ozbiljnije provozao i iskreno sam ostao iznenađen koliko je razlika velika.

Motor je odjednom puno agilniji, precizniji i lakši za voziti. Puno prirodnije ulazi u zavoj, lakše mijenja smjer, a preko guma dobivam bolji feedback. Najveća razlika mi je zapravo u tome što puno više vjerujem gumama.

Sad mi je žao što nisam prije preša na Power 6

I recently switched from the Michelin Road 5 to the Michelin Power 6, and today was my first proper ride on them. I’m genuinely shocked by how big the difference is.

The bike feels much more agile, precise, and effortless to ride. It turns in more eagerly, feels more agile when changing direction, and I’m getting a lot more feedback from the front and rear. Most importantly, I simply have much more confidence in what the tires are doing underneath me.

Honestly, after today’s ride, I’m almost annoyed with myself for not switching earlier.

My riding is mostly sporty riding on Alpine roads, with a track day every other month, so I realize my use case is different from someone who mainly commutes, tours long distances, rides in cold/rainy conditions, or wants maximum tire life.

But if your riding profile is similar to mine, I can definitely recommend trying a more sport-oriented tire like the Michelin Power 6 or something comparable. The difference compared with the Road 5 was much bigger than I expected.

Obviously tires are very personal, and everyone has a different riding style, use case, priorities, and expectations.

Evo, odradio sam svoj prvi track day na RedBull Ringu i mogu reći da mi je to bilo jedno od najzabavnijih iskustava u životu. Jedina mana je što su mi se Michelin Road 5 doslovno rastopile., ali su se dobro drzale do polovice termina.

Išao sampogledati termine za Grobnik, ali vidim da je bio samo jedan termin u sedmom mjesecu i to je to. Zašto ih ima tako malo? Gledam li na krivom mjestu ili se stvarno organizira tako malo track dayeva ?

Par mjeseci sam razmišljao, čekao i tražio pravu priliku. Jučer se napokon pojavila.

Radilo se o hitnoj prodaji zbog obiteljske i financijske situacije vlasnika, pa sam uspio kupiti 3 mjeseca staru Ducati Multistradu V2 S sa samo 1.129 km, i to dosta ispod tržišne cijene.

Tako se danas mom Triumph Tridentu pridružila i Multistrada. Jedva čekam voznju ovaj vikend.
