First time dressing myself in full kimono

The musubi wasn't so neat. And the back of the kimono was wrinkled so I retied it.

Retied, and I think the musubi is neater, but now the back of the kimono is kind of drapey.

I've dressed myself in casual kimono twice in the past and only with a very simple obi. This was the first time I tied the ginza musubi, used obiage or obijime. I'm happy with the results for my first time, but I'm still struggling with the collar (it shifts around too much; I am trying some of the ideas I've received here), and the back of the kimono - it's either too wrinkled or too drapey. I also need a lot more practice with the obiage. Not sure I would go out in my kimono yet, but it was fun to experiment! I'm hoping to get good enough to wear my kimono in Japan in November.

Recommendations for how to improve the collar? And is this too small for me?

Why are these sleeves so short??

I am brand new to kimono dressing. I am having trouble getting the hadajuban collar to remain in place. It looks great at first, but after a bit, it starts to slip under the kimono and you can't see it so much anymore. Are there any tips to getting it to stay in place?

I am a pretty small woman. 5'1, 117 pounds. I think the sleeve length makes this kimono look too small for me, but I have pretty short arms. I regularly have to roll up sleeves that I buy from department stores, so I don't know if I'm over-thinking it or if maybe I'm wearing the jacket incorrectly? What are your thoughts?

Is this obi bow inappropriate for a married woman? And, if so....

https://preview.redd.it/893ss4y724hh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=2aad7856fd5b6c0c0d163a8d5a6d6f3442b6452e

Does anyone have any instructions on how to change it to a taiko knot? I purchased this kimono, and it came with this pre-tied obi. I love the obi fabric and would like to wear the obi. However, this is a houmongi kimono, and I read online that married/older women should not wear this type of bow with this type of kimono.

Am I missing something on the Times Frame?

I just got my Times Frame yesterday, so I'm sure I haven't discovered everything. I thought I would be able to take photos and customize them with widgets - like different clock widgets, weather widgets, pixel art widgets, etc. I didn't think I would be able to design widgets, but I did think I would be able to customize this type of layout. Is this possible, or is it only really possible to use the templates they provide in the app?

Stuck - what do you do?

If you are stuck on a puzzle in the game, do you just keep trying to solve it on your own or do you eventually look it up?

A girl has to have her priorities -

I bought my Casetify Mametchi airpods case and plushie holder, and I don't even own airpods. yet. I don't see a problem here at all.

For anyone interested, this set is pretty cute. Mametchi's face is rubbery which I really love for some reason. The only drawback is that airpod case doesn't fit super easily inside of Mametchi because of the metal black ring on the airpods case. I'm afraid that repeatedly smooshing it inside of Mametchi is going to eventually break the metal ring off the airpods case. If Mametchi were only a little larger.... But, I'm still going to use it! As soon as I get the airpods...

November Kabuki Performance in Tokyo?

I've tried to do some research on attending a Kabuki theatre performance in Tokyo in November. I feel like I may not be understanding what to expect. Does anyone have experience with the Kabuki theatre in Tokyo? Here's what I think I've figured out:

-We want to attend an act and not an entire day. I understand tickets are not on sale yet.

-November's theme is Auspicious Grand Kabuki (While I know what Auspicious means, I'm not sure if this means that we should expect for certain programs to be playing? They have not yet announced the schedule.)

-I think you can get an english translation guide, but I'm not certain. I've seen sites that say they are available and others that say they are not available. I've also read reviews that say the english guide is too distracting. Does anyone know if there is an english translation available, and if so, would you recommend it?

-I understand that you can have tea service and/or a meal at the theatre? Would you recommend this?

Is there anything else I should know or consider when I'm planning this day? Thank you in advance for your help!

We are a family of 3 who has traveled to Tokyo before (we stayed at the Prince Gallery Kioicho and really loved it.) I am interested in staying somewhere new. My husband wants to stay at Prince Gallery (he's a creature of habit, and we really did have such a nice experience), but he said he's open to trying somewhere new. Which of these 3 hotels would you choose? If you don't mind sharing why, that would also help us make a decision. Thanks in advance!

I am interested in booking a Heritage Wing Bath with a View room for 3 people in November. I can see online that the room accommodates 1-3 people, but I am unable to book it unless I enter 2 people. Does anyone know how to book this room for 3? Thanks so much in advance for any advice you can offer.

We are traveling to Tokyo in November, and our 20 year old son will be joining us. He loves gaming (we do too!) Any recommendations for activities or must sees for a gamer? We've walked around Akihabara, played a couple of games in the arcades there, but that's it.
