Let me know if I missed a clan/family I should have included or your thoughts on the order!

Notes on inclusion:
-I included overseas diaspora in list only if they were operating in a semi-cohesive unit (i.e. Kennedy's counted but Biden did not)
-The clan/family had to be powerful across multiple generations to be included

Attempted to map British and Irish last names to the first known location mapped to British and Irish counties.

Notes:
I put 14th century as the floor for the name origin for accuracy reasons (i.e. if a name predated 14th century I just show the location of the name in 14th century as migrations prior to that period weren't as accurately documented.
I couldn't show every single family name in UK - so just picked top 200 most popular.
