I’ve personally seen this happen with my girlfriend. She says she can intentionally leave her body and allow another presence to come through, like a spirit, demon, or someone who has died.
When it happens, I’ve been able to communicate with whatever presence seems to be coming through her, and afterward she returns to herself.
I’m curious whether anyone else has experienced or witnessed something similar. We’d really like to connect with someone who has had the same kind of experience and hear how they understand it.
My ex-partner and I are no longer together, but I recently watched an old video of her and noticed something strange about her eyes. To me, it looked like they were changing or “shapeshifting.” I only really started thinking about all of this after the relationship ended.
There were other things I always found unusual. She was constantly cold, drank huge amounts of water, and frequently licked her lips in a strange way. Her tongue also looked unusually pointed to me. Her dad had the same lip-licking habit, but much more intensely.
There was also one experience that has stayed with me. I had smoked weed and we were sitting on the bed with her in front of me. She suddenly started talking in a very strange way, and I perceived her face as turning reptilian, almost as if it was trying to bite me. I don’t remember exactly what she said. At the end, she started crying. I asked what had happened and what she had said, but she told me she didn’t remember either.
I know the fact that I was high could have affected what I saw, so I’m not claiming I know exactly what happened. But combined with the other things I noticed, the experience still bothers me, and I feel like the relationship may still be affecting me mentally or emotionally.
Has anyone experienced something similar, especially after leaving a relationship like this?
