34.) In FNaF 1, why is Golden Freddy is saying ‘IT’S ME?’

35.) Is the FNaF 1 location the MCI location/Location0?

36.) Who possesses Golden Freddy?

Here are my answers.

  1. 100% Mike. The Logbook has all of the evidence.
  2. Cassidy, if not then BV or the GOAT Gabriel.
  3. After FNaF 1 and FOLLOW ME. SL likely takes place from the mid-late 90s to the mid 2000s.
  4. Probably BV.
  5. Definitely in mid-late October. For the years, I’m torn between 2015, 2017, and 2023 (but mainly 2015 and 2023).
  6. Probably only has healing capabilities.
  7. Around the same time as FNaF 3.
  8. Same time as the Logbook/FNaF 3
  9. Doesn’t really matter too much, but probably yea because of ‘Four games. One story.’ And also the weird connections that pop up when you look into it
  10. Probably Hell
  11. Likely, as it has references to FNAF 3 and 4
  12. Probably Cassidy. BV is a really close second tho.
  13. Either from Mike, his dad, or that one scene in the minigames where William is putting on a Springlock suit for a performer to wear, and BV interpreted it as Willy stuffing someone into an aniamtronic.
  14. After FNaF 1 but before SL, either in the mid-late 90s to mid 2000s.
  15. 1983
  16. Negligence from his dad. We know William didn’t love Mike and only saw him as an ‘easily manipulative tool.’
  17. Mike‘s definitely the runaway kid as it’s after BV and Charlie’s death. The TV person could be Mrs. Afton.
  18. idk
  19. Free pizza, and money. Could’ve also been under William’s orders or he was investigating.
  20. fuck no
  21. Pretty much
  22. idk, probably the one where MCM is on fire.
  23. No
  24. Probaly
  25. It was meant for a random person but Mike got it.
  26. Mangle or Foxy
  27. They probably made it.
  28. They both were at one point.
  29. The FNaF World player.
  30. Probably all 5 of them (6 if BV is in GF)
  31. Probably the good ending. The MCI spirits don’t seem ti be around post UCN
  32. David/Dave, with the latter simply being a nickname
  33. Definitely Mike thanks to the Logbook
  34. Likely because they think Mike is Willy.
  35. Yes, as their whole thing was being on a budget.

The Original Story of Pre-Retcon FNAF

- Note: This is highly inspired by/based off JoeDoughBoi’s Forgotten Theory and the Chronological Timeline of FNAFLore.com.

- There will be 5 things answered in throughout the story. The 3 hints given by Scott in his website, what’s in the box, and what was the retcon.

Anyway, let’s start.

196X-197X: The Beginning

In Hurricane, Utah, a business man named the Purple Guy (PG for short) and an engineer (who we’ll call Co-owner) meet up and start a company named Fazbear Entertainment.

The Co-owner has 3 kids. The oldest, born ~1969, named Mike, and 2 twins, one boy, and one girl, born ~1976. Well call them Dave and Charlotte respectively (obviously these weren’t the names of them back in 2015, but these are simply placeholders).

PG didn’t have any children, but he was a psychopath. He always had a strange relationship with Co-owner. Sometimes, he would worship him, other times, he would absolutely despise him.

1982: The Opening of Fredbear’s

PG and Co-owner open up a restaurant named ‘Fredbear’s Family Diner.’ It starred 2 animatronics, Fredbear and Springbonnie. These animatronics were special as they had the ability to hold the animatronics mechanisms back so a person can fit in the animatronic and use it like a suit. These were called the ‘Springlock Animatronics.’ As innovative as they were, they were extremely dangerous. The springlock mechanisms were very unstable, and even a drop of water would release the mechanisms and impale a performer. Even with all of those risks, FFD was a massive success.

1983: The Big Bite and the Missing Children Incident

After the success of Fazbear Entertainment opened up a new restaurant named ‘Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.’ It starred Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chikcen, Foxy the Pirate Fox, and the Security Marionette, made to keep children safe. These weren’t springlock suits, rather just normal animatronics.

One day, PG felt extremely jealous of Co-owner and decided to go drunk. He drove to FFP, only to see Charlotte standing outside. Taking his chance, PG decided to kill her. The Marionette was able to reach her, but it was too late. Charlotte was already dead. But, she refused to move on, and her soul possessed the Marionette, giving her purple tear streaks. This incident was the first of the 5 missing children.

The death of Charlotte deeply saddened her siblings. This especially saddened Mike, so he decided to take out his anger by bullying Dave. He would also be somewhat bullied a bit by his neighbors, but not on the same level as Mike. Dave was so traumatized from his sister’s death, his constant bullying, and his fear of the animatronics that he formed am imaginary plush of Fredbear… or was it imaginary? The plush was in fact, real, and was being controlled by his sister to comfort him.

One day, Dave saw PG put on a Springlock suit on a performer, and he misunderstood it as PG stuffing a person in an animatronic. This is ‘What is seen in the shadows is easily misunderstood in the mind of a child’ meant.

A bit after the death of Charlotte, PG noticed how the Marionette gained its purple tear streaks, and how he look so alive. Confused and curious PG decides to do some research.

Anyway, on Dave’s 7th birthday, Mike and his friends carry him to the mouth of Fredbear, to ‘give him a big kiss.’ Unknowingly, the springlocks forced down on BV’s head, crushing his entire head. This event was dubbed, the ‘Big Bite‘ or the ‘Bite of ‘83.’

At the hospital, Mike apologizes to Dave, but after that, his sister, talking through the Fredbear plush, told him that he‘ll be put back together. The trauma and agony he went through from the bite caused his soul to possess Fredbear. Also, his trauma and agony caused his memories to influence the future. This will be important later. The death of Dave also created an agony creature named Shadow Freddy.

Eventually, FFD closes, but the springlock suits are still used in Freddy’s as spare suits. Fredbear’s accessories are changed from purple to black and changed his name from Fredbear to Golden Freddy to avoid any troubles. PG notices how Fredbear also seems to be alive in someway, similar to the Marionette, so he plans to try and recreate that type of possesion.

Meanwhile, Fazbear Entertainment hires someone named Phone Guy to record tapes to instruct employees on how to properly wear and use the springlock suits.

Freddy‘s is still doing well for Fazbear Entertainment, but on the night of June 26th, 1983, PG, wearing the Springbonnie suit, lures 2 kids to the backrooms of Freddy’s. He killes them and stuffs them into the Freddy’s animatronics. Throughout the week, 3 more children, including Charlotte are linked to this incident, and PG stuffs the other 2 kids that were linked into the other animatronics.

After PG left, the Marionette helped the children possess their respective animatronics. Each spirit easily possessed their respective animatronics, except for Dave.

This incident was dubbed ‘The Missing Children Incident,’ or MCI for short.

PG was caught on camera, to be the one luring the children to the backrooms, and later got convicted, but without the bodies being found, he eventually got freed.

A few months after the MCI, the animatronics started leaking blood and mucus, so the health department forced them to shut down, causing the first closure of Freddy’s.

1987: The Grand Re-Opening of Freddy’s & More

After the success of the first FFP, FE opened up a new and improved version of Freddy’s. Initially, they were going to retrofit the old animatronics from the first location with new security and facial recognition, but they were deemed too ugly. So instead, they built new and more cuter animatronics, using parts from the older models. These had the security and facial recognition features. They also brought back the Marionette, this time to give prizes to kids at the prize counter.

Sometime in late 1987, PG decides to work the night shifts under a fake identity, and kills 5 more children, this time scattering them across the pizzeria to try and get it closed down, but he fails. The souls of the 5 new dead kids then create an agony creature named RWQFSFASXC, or Shadow Bonnie.

Alongside this, Dave’s memories are constantly influencing the animatronics to correspond to his memories. Toy Foxy is destroyed because of the destroyed mini Toy Foxy in Charlotte’s room. ‘In the FNAF 4 minigame, why would the tiny Toy Chica be missing her beak?’ It’s because Dave’s memories are influencing it and the actual Toy Chica to be missing her beak.

Then in November, FE hires a new night guard, named Jeremy Fitzgerald. He constantly has to avoid being attacked by the animatronics via his Freddy mask, and his flashlight to fend off Foxy.

After his 4th night, Freddy’s is under investigation by the police. On his 6th night, Phone Guy tells him that he shouldn’t be there as the place is closed down, at least for a while. He is then moved to the day shift for a birthday party, and is told to be close to the animatronics.

During his shift, Mangle suddenly attacks Jeremy and bites his frontal lobe. Jeremy survives this attack but is in a vegetative state and really can’t do anything.

After Jeremy leaves, Mike decides to go on the night shift under the alias of Fritz Smith to investigate FE and the animatronics. He goes under a fake name so he doesn’t reveal his identity if he ever gets in trouble with FE. He tampers with the animatronics to check if there are bodies in the animatronics, but he had no luck. He gets fired for tampering with them, and also for bad odor due to the animatronics not smelling great.

Eventually, the place closes down for good and the toys are scrapped. But, the older models are still kept in hopes of a new location opening.

1988-1993: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza’s Last Location

In 1988, FE opens up one last location on a budget. This time, they only had 5 animatronics, the main cast + Golden Freddy (as a backup), limited power, and also reusing their first Freddy’s location, the one where the MCI happened.

In November 1993, Phone Guy decides to take the night shift, but it unfortunately killed on his 5th night by Golden Freddy.

Later that same month, Mike decides to take the night shift, also to investigate FE. He decides to go under the name of Mike Schmidt, possibly naming himself after the baseball player, or just to use generic last names for an alias. Anyway, on his 7th night, Mike again tampers with the animatronic, just to also get fired for tampering with them plus the odor coming from them.

Eventually, in late 1993, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, and Fazbear Entertainment as a whole, shuts down permanently.

200X: Follow Me

Many years after the permanent closure of Freddy’s, PG went back to the FNAF 1 location to get his Springbonnie suit.

He knows that the animatronics are likely going to act out if the suit is moved, so he dismantled each of them. Unknowingly for him, he released the spirits of the MCI from their animatronics. One of the spirits, likely Dave or Charlotte, chased him until he reached into his Springbonnie suit.

The suit however, was very old and fragile. PG started laughing at the spirits, but the moisture from the rain leaking in the building caused the Springlocks to impale and crush his body, killing him in a slow, painful, and agonizing way.

However, his soul refused to move on and go to Hell/Purgatory, so he possessed his own rotting corpse inside of the suit.

The spirits are at peace, for now that is.

1983-2022: FNAF World

Yes, FNAF World is included, it’ll be a short one though.

Charlotte, promises to put Dave’s broken soul back together, as she said to him right before his death. So she changed his bad and negative memories and changed them into happy and more positive ones. This causes Dave’s spirit to be whole again.

2023: The End

30 years after the permanent closure of Freddy’s, a group of people, lead by someone named Phone Dude, decides to capitalize off of the Freddy’s brand by creating a horror attraction named ‘Fazbear’s Frights.’ They went to the old Freddys’ location and collected the old dismantled shells of the animatronics, disturbing the spirits of the MCI and Dave. They also brought over the shells of the Toys, a bunch of children’s drawings, and many more.

Sometime in September-mid October 2023, Mike decides join Phone Dude’s team to work as a night guard to try and save the spirits of the MCI, his brother, his sister, and undo the sins of himself and PG.

Eventually, on a certain day during late October, Phone Dude is told by an old staff of FE about the safe rooms. He goes in there and finds the rotting corpse of PG, now going by the name of Springtrap.

Mike goes back to the location for the night shift and sees Springtrap, causing him to hallucinate the old animatronics. These hallucinations actually represent the traumas of Mike, Dave, and the MCI. Phantom Foxy represents Mike’s trauma. Phantom Freddy represents Dave’s trauma. Phantom Marionette and Phantom Mangle represent Charlotte’s trauma. Phantom Chica represents the other MCI’s trauma (notice how she’s the only one using her FNAF 1 design), and Phantom BB represents the loss of innocence between 3 siblings.

However, after every shift, Shadow Freddy follows Mike home and is contantly giving him nightmares. These nightmares are also caused by his guilt/trauma from the Big Bite, and his trauma from his shifts at Freddy's during the 80s and 90s.

While at his shifts in FF, he's also actively trying to put the MCI victims and Dave to rest, by changing their negative memories into more happier ones.

Mike went home one night, and Shadow Freddy followed him, again. This time, he went into Mike’s dream as Nightmare, haunting him that night. Fortunately for Mike, he was able to survive against him and finally got over his nightmares.

One night, Mike plays with the wiring of the building, causing it to burn to the ground.

The spirits of the MCI are finally put to rest, Dave finally forgives Mike, and the latter finally gets to move on from his trauma and lives a peaceful life.

However, Springtrap isn't able to move on. PG is stuck on Earth, unable, to die, unable to move on...

’Four games. One story.’ The story of Mike, from killing his brother, to being a guard at Freddy’s and FF, and having nightmares based off of his guilt and trauma from the bite.

What was in the box? The memories, guilt, and trauma experienced by 3 siblings.

When Does FNAF 3 Take Place?

-2023/2020s

-2015

-2017

-Other

I personally believe in 2023 or the early-mid 2020s for a few reasons

  1. The source code for ScottGames leading up to FNAF 3 once read ‘Five, Nights, At, Freddy’s, 30, Years, Later, Only, One.’ This can really only be interpreted as ‘FNAF 1, 30 years later, only one real animatronic.’

  2. The term ‘Closed its doors’ usually means something that has permanently stopped operation, and as we know, the FNAF 1 location was the last of its kind.

  3. It doesn’t necessarily HAVE to ONLY be based off of the MCI. We know that it was based off of rumors too, which existed all the way back since 1983. It could be based off of all of the tragedies of Freddy’s. The MCI, BO87, etc.
