I’m pretty short on money right now but i can pull out some stock money and get new ones they are 265/70/16R. The mechanic says i need new ones, but i have to drive the truck to college in about a week around 300 miles flat the whole way pretty much michigan and ohio roads.
I just bought a 2006 double cab tundra 4x4 v8 and i noticed when cleaning it that there is a bunch of dirt in the area where both front doors meet the cab at the bottom and i’ve been using a wooden stick to pull it out but how do i actually get most of it out.
would a chrome bumper fit on my 06 double cab, i really love the look of the chrome front bumper and it would match my rear bumper and wheels
mechanic said lower ball joints are good, timing belt was done at 90k miles but back in 2018 so prolly needs to be replaced
2000 Access cab 4x4 v8 seller wants 6800 it’s got 202k miles. Seller also told me that the timing belt and LBJ haven’t been changed recently

Hello does anyone have any advice on how to buy one in the rust belt it seems like most of them are either rusty or way overpriced for a old truck. I understand toyota tax but it’s a 25 year old truck. I’m seeming to find a lot but they always either have rust or high miles or want a fortune. I just need advice, i’m from northern ohio kinda west side of Cleveland area.
They want 4k and it’s got some that 4x4 access cab v8. it’s got no AC like it’s broken the rear drive shaft bearing is bad and it won’t shift into 4x4. it’s got 160k miles with a decent amount of rust. Also has check engine light for evap
