Maxwell 2 update

Hello, i have Maxwell 2 for a few months, and they are perfect for me, no hiss, no wierd sounds in background or when music is not playing and stuff that people say they have, and the sound is amazing.

I am affraid to update them, because some people say they got some issues after the update, should i do the update or leave it as it is?

Also, is there any good side from this update? Like soundwise or something?

FL Studio or Logic Pro

Hey, i am coming from around 7 years in FL Studio, learned everything by myself, no youtube, just me.

I understand FL, but my mix is not that great, i feel like i cant do what i want in FL.

Mostly making progressive psytrance, funk, piano songs, and remixes with vocals.

I started like a month ago a little in Logic Pro, i like it, its different but very good, i can do a lot of things like i can i FL, but something like filtering a region of a song (for 1 or 2 instruments) its hard for me to understand.

Also, it was easyer for me to process sounds in FL, to make a mix more balanced.

I have Serum 2, Vital, Infiltrator 2, drums, and thinking about getting Shaperbox 3 for now.

I really like stock plugins in Logic, mostly piano and some other stuff, and Logic seems like a better option for me, but i am struggling.

Should i give it more time, or stay with FL?

Keep in mind that my budget is limited for buying more plugins and stuff for now, and i dont have a lot of experience in sound design.

Maxwell 2 feels distant in Apex.

Hey i just got my first Audeze headphones, Maxwell 2 and i am amazed.

Sound is perfect, feels premium and everything is great.

But i have 1 problem, im Apex Legends, footsteps and everthing sound like they are much more far away then they are, like surround sound, not like stereo.

I mean, i like when i can hear direction, but not like that.

Is there any fix to that?

Audeze Maxwell 2

I just got the Maxwell 2, before that i had:

Arctis 3 - was ok at that time (long time ago)

Arctis 5 - very bad imo

HyperX Cloud 2 wireless - I really really loved them, very nice headset

Arctis 9 wireless - it was good but worse than Cloud 2 imo

Arctis Pro Wireless - the worst headset i have ever tried, i hate everything about them except 2 batteties for endless wireless experience.

After that i got DT 990 pro 250 ohm with Fiio K11 R2R DAC and i was happy, very clear sound, for gaming and mixing it was very very good, but it was a little boring for me.

I work in logic pro and play Apex Legends mostly, in room, like a hobby, i am not a professional.

But today i got Audeze Maxwell 2 and i couldnt be happier.

The sound is amazing, clear, never tried something like that.

Everything is perfect imo.

I have my own taste in sound ofc and made EQ that is suitable for me.

Just to be clear, i am not saying any of the headsets i listed are bad, just not for me personaly.

Let me know what you think of EQ and these headphones.

Audeze Maxwell 2 PS vs Fiio FT1

Please help me decide.

I currently own Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 ohm with Fiio K11 R2R and i like the sound, it is clear, but its boring for me. Dont get me wrong it is very nice, but i would like some more bass and something different.

I mostly produce music in Logic Pro making mostly psytrance, but Funk, Piano midi playing, instruments and stuff (i am not a professional, just new to it) and i am not recording anything.

Also, i am playing Apex Legends a little, and all of this is for a home room, not a studio.

I tried Fiio FT1 and it is very very good for me, but the only problem imo is build qualitty, but not that its not good, jet it is not that premium (just physicaly) on touch. Sound is very very good.

I have it for like 150eur.

I didnt try Maxwell 2 and cant in Serbia, but i hear very good things about them. They sound like a perfect option for what i am trying to get. Only problem is that i cant hear them and also they said i cant return them easily if i dont like them (like i need to go through hell to get my money back).

I have it for like 330 eur.

I am affraid that if i get FT1 , i would chase Maxwell 2 for a long time just to hear them, and i am affraid that if i get Maxwell 2 and dont like it, i am not gonna be happy.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad English.
