Looking to transfer agencies WSDOT to Dept of Commerce - cultural differences

I'm currently at a job at WSDOT that I hate, where I'm harassed by specific management and it's swept under the rug by the rest of my management. I'm judged by having a degree. Training opportunities and professional development opportunities go to the same people in my department over and over again who do not have a degree. Obstacles are constantly put in my way to make it more difficult for me to do my job.

I'm looking at applying for a job in the department of commerce working with their new budget system. Any advice on if this will be a good move? What is the culture like between the two agencies?

I'm very open-minded. I need to find a new place to go- FAST, but I also don't want to end up in a worse spot than I already am.

Hold vs Drop Option in Up Next Queue

Hi, I’m new to the Sofa Time app and recently switched over from TV Time, so I’m still learning how everything works.

Can someone explain the difference between marking a show as On Hold versus Dropped? Does either option remove the show completely from my lists, or does it only remove it from my Up Next queue?

I like keeping a record of every show I’ve watched. For shows I’ve decided not to continue, I’d like them to remain in my watched history but no longer appear in Up Next. Which option should I use?

Thanks

Good Vibrations Challenge - Start A Shared Playlist With A Friend

For the Good Vibrations challenge, one of the items is to start a shared playlist with a friend. I know the friendship-related tasks can sometimes feel a little intimidating, especially if you’re not sure where to begin.

So I created a shared Spotify playlist that anyone can add to. This way, the shared playlist is already started — and the community can be the friend group. We can all add songs together and make this challenge item feel a little easier and more fun.

Add your favorite song here: Birb Tracks: Good Vibrations

I’d love for this to become a big, eclectic playlist full of songs from people all over the world — happy songs, comfort songs, songs that make you feel understood, songs you just love for no reason at all.

Feel free to add a song, listen along, and save it if it becomes one of your favorites too. I can’t wait to hear what everyone adds. 🎶✨
