Third dojo in the coldwater tank!!

The first tank is my co2 tank the second is my walstad.

I'm about to combine the two in a 36 bowfront and am wanting to do both styles of tank. I love the way the plants grow and how fast/the lack of having to do water changes in my walstad. But I want to really push plant growth in this new tank!

Just wondering if anyone has done this before!!

my boyfriend really wanted a golden dog face puffer. We travel to Florida for my birthday, I work for a local fish store and where we were staying was only going to be 15 minutes from one of the wholesalers we buy from. so we went to go pick out some fish and coral for the shop.

As I was looking around, I wasn't really paying any attention to what he was doing. He was doing his own thing looking at the fish, when I got done, he was standing at this tank with a huge dog face puffer in it. Supposedly he was standing at that tank for a good long while.

Ever since then I have not stopped hearing about this dog face puffer can we get a puffer fish? I want a puffer fish. So when we got these leopard puffers in I decided to surprise him with one. unfortunately we are in the process of moving so here in the next year or so you all will see a golden dog face puffer on here 😂 (he still wants one). We already have 125 gallon so getting another 210 would just not be realistic.

So y'all meet Mr. squishy, he is in an Evo for now but here in the next month or so my all in one backing for my sixty breeder should be done. He seems quite happy in here, and my boyfriend is ecstatic to finally have a puffer lol

I got it in the mail yesterday, calcium is 430, kh is 8, mag is 1400. Salinity 1.024.

I have never had a coral do this before.

125 gal with an fx6 filter! Nitrates have never gone above 5 ppm.

Not sure the magic behind the nitrates being so low but I decided to do a wc anyways!

Did my regular water changes with coral pro salt by red sea last week. and thats when they started looking like this.

I want to say its because my mag and calcium dropped for some reason.

Got these readings by testing with the red sea test kit

For the 10 gallon (one with green frogspwan)

Cal 400

KH: 8.4

Mag 1280

Last time cal tested at 480 and mag was 1600. Kh was same

Evo (torch tank)

Calcium 440

KH 8.4

Mag 1320

Last tests read. Kh was 7, 460 calcium, and mag was also 1600.

I have an AI prime hd on evo and fluval marine on 10 gallon

All of the coral I've had for over 3 months some closer to a year!
