MIC hard top driver side hard to take off

My Bronco Raptor has the MIC hardtop and the driver side roof panel is very hard to remove. The flared pin close to the center seemes to catch and stick. I have push and wiggle and tap to try to get it out of the retaining hole. I have tried lifting from the sides and back but always difficult to get it out. I don’t want to crack the top bending it trying to get it out. Passenger side is very easy to remove. Does anyone else seem to have this issue?

My brother had a pretty clean system that was no longer reading disks so I decided to take it on as a project. I replaced the broken laser ribbon cable and did an optical cap replacement but it still was not reading disks. I took a chance on a $7 Ali Express laser and she is working great agin. It came in a little white bag with no padding and a little banged up but still working. I just needed to make sure that I removed the small solder blob from the ribbon cable. I also turned the laser power down and incremented it 1/8 turn at a time clockwise until it was reading both OEM disks and burned disks. While I was in there I replaced the failing clock battery with a cr2032 holder. Hopefully she is good to go for a long time.
