Hello,

I know on paper it’s a pretty big upgrade, I just wanted to know if anyone had any personal experience with this particular upgrade (bonus points if you’ve done this on high refresh 3440x1440p).

My main two considerations are that my Power Supply is only like 600W and my case can only fit a 2-Slot card and this seems like the best fit without needing to change other parts as well. So if you have any better suggestions I’d be happy to hear you out.

So for context I have both an Odin 2 Mini Pro and an Odin 2 Portal Max. Currently the Portal is on Android and the Mini is on Rocknix. I just wanted to share some thoughts so far and see if anyone else had some thoughts on the subject.

1. Personally I’ve found Android to be more user friendly (maybe it would be a different story if I hadn’t jumped through the hoops to install Rocknix internally). Other than the install process there was the fact that I had to calibrate the triggers on Rocknix which took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out that was the issue.

2. Portmaster is pretty sick.

3. Direct access to steam doesn’t feel better than gamehub/game native like I thought it would.

4. Am I correct in thinking that the biggest tradeoff is trading Switch compatibility for Xbox compatibility?

5. How does Slime Rancher 2 run so poorly on both setups?

Anyways those or my thoughts on Android vs Linux and I think for now at least I’ll keep one of each just to see how my feelings on the subject evolve. What are your thoughts on the subject?
