Deepening my Understanding

I recently started following Lutheranism as someone who was raised Catholic and held a sort of agnostic/non religious Catholic view for most of my life. And now I want to get more serious in practicing my faith. I do have a copy of the Small Catechism but I also want to know what else I can read in order to get a better understanding of Lutheranism. Bible and other useful material.

I know there are posts on this subreddit that have the answer to my question but its hard to keep track of the relevant posts so any help would be appreciated:)

Tips/Services for Accessing Records Online

So I've always been interested in genealogy n all that stuff for a while now. My parents are from the Philippines. My dad's side of the family grew up on a small island and my great grand parents(on my mom's side) along with half their children emigrated to Canada. I'm more interested in finding ways to access things like birth, death records and etc in the Philippines as I don't have much on my dad's side on my fami. Although help with Accessing Canadian records along with US military and/or emigration records would be awesome too. Tbh I just don't know where to start and sites I've been on have just confused me.

In short just wanna know what's available online for me to fund my research from the Philippines, US and Canada for free.
