2020 Ascent Might Have Dead Animal

Thursday morning, after driving it with NO smell all day Wednesday, I got in my car to go to work to the foulest rotten egg smell. We were not able to locate the source Thursday or today (we were out of town Friday or I would have dealt with it that day too). It is inside and gets worse as the car is closed up for longer but airs out when you roll down the windows- so I definitely figure it was something dead. We searched every inch of interior & engine bay we can reach and found nothing, but we dont have a way to check in depth UNDER the car without a lift or jack or anything, weve done our best and still nothing ...

but today I did bring my dogs out to the car and their interest was very piqued and they seemed to focus on the center console area. I really figured it would have been more the dash, maybe even near the AC area, and I know this doesn't mean anything necessarily but I am curious if anyone knows if there is a way for something to get up in the center console? Is there any easy way for me to take this area apart and check myself or do we HAVE to take this in?

Late June Planting

May & June really got away from me with travel and company and I am just now realizing as I stare at my half empty garden beds.... I forgot to plant most of my flower seeds. Got all the herbs and veggies, but I still have bulbs for dahlias, I have ranuculus, and Zinnia just sitting about that I meant to plant way before now! Do we think it is too late to throw these guys out near Chicago, IL? The packaging does technically say through June for the Zinnias but would they even have time to flower and establish at this point?

Edit to add that I am also super open to suggestions for other flowers to plant in my zone at this time! The comments give me tons of hope and motivation that I haven't missed out!
