Thermalright C12C fans | Why so cheap?

So I recently picked up a Thermalright phantom spirit 120 digital as it was very well rated against much more expensive counterparts from the likes of Noctua (1-2C difference for leas than half the price).

I was stumped today looking at case fans, with the ability to buy Thermalright C12Cs for as little as £1.80 GBP each, when typical case fans from rivals can be in the £8-16 range for similar spec.

Why are these fans so cheap? Are they that vastly inferior to other brands? It would seem odd to me that someone who can engineer a heart CPU cooler would degrade their brand with awful fans, so I assume they must be decent, but just hilariously cheap?

Anyone with experience of these? Would appreciate the feedback.

I'm keen to avoid having to change the existing pipework, and hoping to just attach onto the existing 15mm isolator. In a perfect world I need a 15mm female to 3/8" male reducer, but happy to combine bits as needed.

Bought what I thought may work before removing old tap, but is a male to male reducer with a compression fitting on the 15mm end requiring extra copper pipe and another compression fitting.

Have tried eBay, Amazon and Screwfix but coming up shortly. Anyone experienced with installing Grohe taps in UK as a replacement?
