Let’s settle something before the Primary Election on May 19. In Kentucky, you are allowed to have your phone in the voting booth for a “cheat sheet,” right?
Last time I voted, poll workers were yelling at people for having their phones out.
My understanding is you are absolutely allowed to do this so long as you don’t use it to photograph others or “electioneer.” My understanding is you can also take a “ballot selfie” as long as no one else or their ballot is included.
Am I correct?

This hotline is fully staffed from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST on voting days specifically to handle voting irregularities, poll disruptions, and law enforcement.

You can call the state board directly to report that a specific precinct is not following the state's official guidelines regarding phone use/ballot selfies.
