Why is facebook auto-sending my friends invitations to groups I’m in?

Title says it mostly. This is a hair concerning as I’m not physically clicking any invite button or are wishing that friends were in certain groups. How can I stop this?

Im sure you guys get this daily but could I have ETD?

Firstly, I'm an Organist so I'm fully aware that this could sadly be hearing loss.

Sorry if this is a mess, I'm just trying to collect my thoughts.

I tend to get pretty heavy allergies that always make my tubes feel clogged so I'm hoping it is ETD. A few years ago I really began to notice a persistent feeling of fullness that never *really* went away after I had a big cold. It has times where it is minimized and others where it is very noticeable. Basically most times it feels like I have to pop my ears due to increase of altitude. I can yawn and pop them but that does nothing. It is mostly a fullness feeling behind the lower lobe. I have Tinnitus (I'm aware this could be because I play a very loud instrument but my friends who also play loudly say they don't have it). About a year ago I went and had custom fit ear plugs made for when I practice, I tend to not wear them as it is a burden to put them in, take them out, and clean them etc. Sometimes I will lightly stuff rolled up tissue paper in my ears instead, not very far or violently, just enough to lightly seal them. Whenever I take out the ear plugs or the tissue paper after an amount of time wearing them, I feel like I can hear in 4k again, the "seal" feels opened. Of course this only lasts for maybe 5-10 mins before they go back to how they were. I'm hopeful this is not hearing loss as I'd assume I wouldn't hear better for a few mins after releasing pressure.

so, a few things I think this could be:

  1. ETD

  2. A buildup of excess ear wax

  3. A fluid buildup or possible untreated hearing infection that has gone on a year or so.

  4. Hearing loss (hopefully not)

I've finally had enough and will hopefully go to an urgent care on Monday and hopefully they will refer me to an ENT.

Would love to hear some of your thoughts, Thanks!

How do yall deal with the mental strain/imposter syndrome?

Not looking for sympathy, looking for help dealing with it. I’m a student in an organ studio and the constant competition between all students to be better is mentally exhausting. I’m aware most of the not feeling good enough or on the same level is all in my head and probably not founded in reality but it is very difficult at times. I always love going to new cities and going and playing new instruments, I always feel bad after if I do t have a good playing day that now that organist thinks I’m terrible or something. So what have some of you guys done to help minimize these things? Thanks

Any tips for melody writing in an Anglican style Choral Anthem

Hi all, I am very versed in standard 4 part harmony writing and harmonization of a melody etc. I’m an organist and I have sung and played this type of music for a long time, I’d say I have a pretty solid understanding of it. I like to “compose” for fun, not super seriously. I’m a few pages through an anthem on psalm 121 and have a few primary melodic ideas that have been harmonized. However, to avoid it sounding just like a typical hymn there has to be (should be) variation between the psalm verses. I have had no luck for a few days with coming up with more meaningful/interesting melodic ideas.

Does anyone have any good tips for doing this? I could modulate to another key or relative minor but I don’t think that fits the particular verse. Any tips would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

Did they give the wolves more power or smth

Feel like this is dumb but I feel like since the recent update the wolves have been a bit more powerful in the first few nights. They’ve been able to jump bite farther, I can no longer run backwards and kill them with an axe and not take any damage. Feels like they also have higher health, before you could pretty consistently kill them with two headshots, now mostly it’s 3, occasionally 2. Again I know this is stupid but has anyone else noticed this?

Probably a dumb question about family sharing but..

Hey all, this is probably a dumb question. My father has iCloud plus and shares it with family sharing. I haven’t joined it yet because I’m wondering if it would merge both our files, photos, vids, etc. I haven’t backed up my phone in a long time cause I’m out of iCloud storage and already pay for more. I’m about to go on a college study trip in Europe and would like to back up my phone in case something happens. So yeah, sorry it’s a dumb question. I know when sharing Apple Music it doesn’t merge music libraries, I’d hope iCloud storage would be similar.
