TLDR; Can jags jump homeranges?

been trying set up my jag grind following ibuyz guide with the top homerange and bottom home range I was able to swap out like 2 females but after a couple rotations I went from seeing maybe 4-6 males to 1-2 and only the females I have yet to swap out (2). I’m pretty sure I’m covering all the area I need too but idk how often jags might jump home ranges. I know I have a good bit on the middle river but it’s so bad to hunt any tips or thoughts? Maybe trying a different homerange I saw a pretty good video that kind of broke down the homerange areas but I don’t want to setup on a new home range and the hoping starts again. I figured I’d only be shooting a specific 7-10 jags so the original 8 males I had felt pretty good which in reality with the 5 females would of been a total of 12 males if I swapped everything. But it just seems like after the first run on the beach nothing has respawned at least not where I thought they would. To be really specific I’m checking from the outpost closes to the coast on the right side of the map to the top and all 3 lakes in that range then the bottom from like where the beach has a split where the coast pushes in down and I think there is 4 lakes down there. I set up as close to ibuyz as I could.

Anywhere to play pick up kinda later in the evening? I have a group I usually play with in gentilly but the field has been getting rented out lately. We play pretty late usually like 7:30-9. So just looking for a replacement spot? A field a hard court I’d rather not renting out but I can understand it. So basically I’m looking for a spot me and my typical group could play from 7:30ish on, or a group I can hop on with from time to time just to play.

I’m doing red deer te awora I have maybe like 9 big rack diamonds that are either guaranteed or low estimate a little under diamond then I have like 2-3 troll racks and 2-3 of the I believe there the crab racks that have a chance at diamond but are kind of sketchy based on estimates all of these are level 9s so around 15 or so level 9s. I’m trying to really lock in my heard management on them I been rotating and I keep shooting like 2-3 level 7 and 8s mix in a couple 6s and 5s I been rotating on about 5-8 red deer I rotate every lake too I feel like I’m getting close but might of hit a plateau and can’t get to the point where I feel I can shoot all my diamonds and they respawn reasonably high. Should I shoot trolls? Should I just keep rotating on these few deer till I have nothing but 9s and 4s on the map? Would love some advice. I really wanna stack to swap my big solos into herds but I just don’t feel comfortable till everything is kind of balanced.

I just had to come vent somewhere literally been hunting for about a month off and on for a diamond sambar (and hog deer) I’ve killed probably 7-10 max weights and levels (hs: 165.7) and I’m getting over it but I won’t quit. Anybody else have a species like this for them? (Casual hunting)
