Wifes 2023 CRV dash is lit up like a Christmas tree
As the title says. There’s several warning lights on in my wifes CRV with 52k miles. Not a hybrid model. Brake system, brake hold system, stability assist, electric power steering, stability assist, hill start assist, hill descent assist, adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, and collision braking assist.
They all came on at once. I swapped the battery out with a new one since i know newer vehicles can be finicky with bad batteries and it was nearly 4 years old in a cold climate and was just barely into the “good” on our load tester at work.
Assuming the old battery was bad, how can I get the lights to turn off? I left the battery unhooked overnight even and all the lights came back on. I also tried clearing them with my scan tool and they all came back on. She’s been driving it still until we can get it to the dealer this Friday but was wondering if there’s anything else I can try. At this point I’m thinking maybe a body control module or something.
Timbertech install question.
So I’m doing a deck on my house with timbertech and doing a picture frame. The picture frame boards are solid with no groove and no scalloping and I’ll use the cortex screws for those. The inside boards are grooved and scalloped. With the concealoc fasteners, the only way I can see to install them where the inside board is against the picture frame is to route a groove into the solid board? Timbertech says you can’t use the cortex screws in scalloped boards.
Jamaica, west or south side of island for $200-350 a night at end of January?
I’m interested in somewhere in Negril or the south side of the island. I’m not looking for ultra luxury but also not interested in a Riu. Is there anything available in that price per night range?
Stump grinders
I live in the country and I have lots of trees in my yard and some of them are dying. I’ve been looking at buying a smaller 14-20hp stump grinder vs. renting something much larger. I am very capable of working on my own equipment. Are the smaller ones just a gimmick? How do they work on a bigger stump? Most of the trees in my yard are under 2ft diameter. I could see myself maybe doing some part time stump grinding too if the smaller machine does a decent job.
I have an old Lincoln weldanpower 8000 with an onan engine. It will idle up by itself if I plug in like a grinder or something but it won’t idle up when I strike an arc, I have to manually hit the switch. Anyone have ideas on fixing it?
