Hoping for some experience here. I’m new to pour overs, to Fellow and to Equator Coffees.

Fellow has a “Drop” series where they send a text and you can grab what I assumed to be a limited edition coffee, freshly roasted. (Not new to espresso) Equator is in SF and they roast on Wednesdays.
The bag says 5/15 roast on west coast, received it by mail today on 5/20 on east coast. It’s a light roast, but there is hardly any roasted smell. Is this normal? It’s so strange coming from freshly roasted coffees to this.
