Take 2: Rod Bubbles (Not Blurry!)

You guys are rough, but I deserved it…those were terrible pictures. How about now? Thoughts? Advice?

Bubbles (?) On Flyrod

Ive had this Sage RPL-X for 20+ years and its my favorite rod. I just noticed what look like cloudy spots or bubbles on the guide wraps and elsewhere. I did leave the rod outside for a long time recently, so wonder if it’s sun or water damage of some kind. Thoughts? Advice?

Beulah vs Sage spey?

I’ve been doing some research on a two handed rod and see that both Sage and Beulah rods are highly recommended. But Beulah is so much less expensive. Am I missing something? Are they not really in same league?

This is a photo of my mom holding dozens of eggs, presumably from a farm she had just visited. My parents weren’t very well traveled, so this is likely from somewhere in the New York City vicinity, probably in the late 1050s/early 1960s. . Any ideas?
