Bought this stock in 2024, exited today at +180%

Sold my Gokul Agro Resources holding today.

Around 180% up in around 19 months.
Bought it around Sept 2024 and just stayed invested through all the chaos. Also got the stock split during the holding period (FV ₹2 → ₹1).

But honestly, it wasn’t easy at all.

At one point the position was up ~120%, then came all the way down close to ~20%. Later it ran back to ~150%, corrected again to around ~80%, and now finally exited around ~180%.

This trade genuinely reminded me that big returns rarely come in a straight line. Holding sounds easy until you actually go through swings like these.

What’s one stock you wish you had held longer?

Had a short position in Coforge and even added 2 more lots today. At one point, I was up ₹35K, but things reversed and I booked around ₹8K in the end.

Then came the surprise — results turned out to be strong.

Honestly, can’t imagine holding that short overnight after those numbers… would’ve been stressful af.

Now I’m out completely, and if I get the right setup tomorrow, I’ll look for fresh long opportunities. Let’s see how it plays out.

Would you have held through results or played it safe?

Entered a short on Coforge Ltd — got a perfect entry but honestly not satisfied with the quantity. Was planning to go heavier (around 5–7 lots), but held back.

Also fumbled earlier… was up ₹18k on Waaree, ended at breakeven 🥲

Now sitting with mixed thoughts:

Coforge Results tomorrow → could swing either way

BJP winning state elections → market sentiment might be positive, but it’s not a general election so impact could be limited.

Feels like one of those trades where conviction isn’t 100%, but setup looked good enough to take a shot.

Let’s see how it plays out…

What are you guys expecting from Coforge results / market reaction tomorrow?
