So when is the HOTFIX #2? Can't join discord, going on a few weeks now.

Wondering when HOTFIX #2 is dropping, VOYAGE Raids are busted and do NOT work per what devs posted, so WHEN is the patch?! You said the 25th of June. It is 7PM...?? So the 26th in EU??

Are these devs only good at lying or?

Second raid in a row!!!

Right in the middle of winning a battle between another player and bang!!!! Connection lost!!!! Twice in two raids!!!! At the same point of winning!!! This game is pure rage bait. When you’re losing, the server runs fine. When you’re winning, you get a “connection lost” screen 😅✌🏻✌🏻 I’m putting this game down until it can even run itself, GG!!

Keep getting disconnected, and now I cannot connect at all.

Anyone else having this issue?

Tier 1 mech vs Tier 3 mech on spawn?

SECOND DAY OF GAME RELEASE: Just spawned in, after just putting my guns on and reloading weapons was immediately chased by a tier 3 mech. He spammed cores until he got me, wiped me. Guy had snipers, c4, triple barrel shotguns, prestine weapons. Like what do you do?

(I just started the game, maybe have 4 raids. I am experienced with 50-60 hours into the playtest)

What is this spawn system? Just spawns you in EYESIGHT view of another mech? If this is how this games gonna be, its life is gonna be short lived in my library. Quite literally just started and forced to fight tier 3 mechs with better weapons, armor, reload, firing ranges, damage output, overall health, accuracy as SOON as you SPAWN. What is this nonsense?! Fighting a mid tier boss at raid 5, in my first game today. GG! Infuriated is an understatement.

Mech got stuck in ground

Welp ruined that play through, between the lag, disconnects, getting stuck on random pieces of the ship, and the mech falling into the ground GG!

How much longer until release? & or another delay under way?

Is the fix resolved? Servers coming online or are we waiting longer? We were given a 1-2 hour window. It has now been 3 1/2 hours. I was super excited last release date; within a hour it was delayed by weeks.

Today on the SECOND launch day, it is delayed twice?

Worn & Prestine Weapons ruined this playtest :) could be what the future holds

So they made worn & prestine weapons accessible to buy/trade via the in game store, so now every mech you run across will indeed have just that. Turning every evenly paced, well action pack fight/slog into 30 second unclimactic catastrophes. With pin point accuracy and 2-3x the reload speed compared to rusty weapons you stand zero chance. Takes only 2-3 shots to ruin one turret, then he's on to the next. After that the next, then your wheel house, and then your reactor.

I have a feeling they will make terrible moves like this in the future seeing they couldn't for see server issues. Which, out of most issues, could be solved long before the problems arise through proper testing. They have held multiple playtests, yet on the one RIGHT BEFORE LAUNCH all fails? Right haha.

Once they get the game going, their going to make stupid moves like adding prestine & worn cannons easy to buy in the store so all grinding/progress you felt you had made is ruined by some guy with a "meta" build.

Since I'm banned from the SAND discord, I'll leave this here :)

Why I cannot recommend Sins 2 anymore

So I preordered Sins 2 long before release because I grew up playing the original Sins. Me and my buddies spent YEARS getting absolutely stomped in Sins 1, so when Sins 2 got announced, we all bought in expecting a bigger and better version of the game — better maps, better modding/editor tools, more factions, deeper gameplay, more ships, all of it.
I put around 250–300 hours into the game. Learned the metas, learned the strategies, beat the AI on the hardest difficulty, played multiplayer, the whole deal.
And honestly? The game just gets boring after 4–5 matches.
Every game feels super linear. You either turtle or play hyper aggressive, and the outcome is usually obvious really early on. Matches don’t have that chaotic, back-and-forth feeling the first game had. All my friends quit after maybe 100–200 hours because they felt the same way.
Multiplayer was sweaty but honestly the most fun part. I almost beat a really good player just from grinding against AI. But even then, the game still feels… shallow.
For newer players, sure, it probably feels like a huge experience. But for longtime Sins fans, this honestly just feels like Sins 1 with updated graphics and some QoL improvements.
I bought the $100+ edition expecting meaningful DLC support, major faction additions, expanded content, better customization, maybe cosmetics worth caring about, etc. Instead we got minor updates, and even the “major” updates have felt incredibly underwhelming.
Overall I probably played:
10–20 AI matches
6–7 games with friends
4–6 multiplayer matches
Some lasted hours. Some ended in 10–20 minutes because the winner was obvious so early.
What happened to the promises?
More factions?
Better map editor tools?
More depth and replayability?
Making the game more enjoyable for both veterans and newer players?
At this point I genuinely can’t recommend the game anymore. It’s been 1–2 years and most of the hype/promises feel abandoned. It feels like they delivered the bare minimum and then moved on to other projects before this game was even close to reaching its potential.
Why do so many studios do this now? Release something with huge potential, drip-feed tiny updates, then move on before the game is fully realized.
I spent 2 years trying to get people hyped for this game because I honestly believed it was going to explode with content and longevity.
Instead I spent $100+ on a game that still feels like it has almost no meaningful content compared to what it could’ve been. 💀😭
What happened?

Had an augment on with the binoculars, works well for pics 🥰

Had to take a picture with the guys that took down the matriarch 😄👍🏻

I may disagree and get frustrated at this game on a lot of things but the quality of sound and the atmosphere this game brings is none other.
